Well then you need to go and straighten out the pastor of 1st Baptist Church in Parsippany NJ because he claims to be both a Fundi & a Calvinist:laugh:

Guess that per Van, the Apostle paul was a "big dummy", had to be, else he would have not written down those truths that we use to build our theology upon!

I am a dog lover, so I am sure I would love your dogs! I have two chihuahuas, but don't let their size fool you. They can be brutal on the ankles!

You don't have hundreds of verses that refute Calvinism. You don't have a single verse that refutes Calvinism.

But you don't know that because you don't understand the Bible. You don't know how to interpret Scripture.

The way you interpret Scripture is the same way the Pentecostals interpret it. You come to some different conclusions than they do about some things- but your hermeneutic is the same.

The problem winman is that you are dangerous to people who are no more knowledgeable than you are.

It is not that you are not sincere. It is that you are totally oblivious to proper interpretive skills.

It is that you don't even know HOW to interpret the Bible- so you certainly aren't going to know what it teaches. And you don't.

You have demonstrated that to Calvinists and Arminians alike on here many times.

Barnes would not agree with you at all on how you interpret Scripture.

Neither would Jacobus Arminius, John Wesley, Francis Asbury, Adam Clarke and a host of other Arminian scholars.

You simply can't be a scholar of any stripe and be any where near as oblivious to how to properly interpret the Bible as you are.

Nobody agrees with the way you interpret Scripture.

But you are too blind to see that.

But the thing that I think you'll have to answer for is the arrogance that says that God speaks to you and you don't need anyone else's help in understanding the Scripture.

To me- that's absolute wickedness and the source of all heresy. Now you may not be a heretic- but your hermeneutic is the same that heretics employ. That makes you dangerous.
