It depends on where you are in the starting cities and where you're going in the destination cities, and also on how fast you drive and how many pitstops you make.

    On average,

Dallas to Houston, 1 stop, 70 mph, light traffic, about 3 hrs. & 30 mins.

Houston to San Antonion, 1 stop, 70 moh, light traffic, about 2 hrs. & 45 mins.

San Antonio to Dallas, 1 stop, 70 mph, light traffic, about 4 hrs. (This one is just an estimate as I've never driven it before; the others I have.)

    Texas is a BIG state.

If you should decide to attend one of the singings that I mentioned earlier, I would recommend that you e-mail one of the contact numbers on the page I linked - http://singings.texasfasola.org/monthlysingings.html - to get accurate directions from where you'll be staying. Maybe Bro. James can go with you if you choose the one in Houston! Hope you have a pleasant visit to our fair state.

Another stop you might want to make in the Houston area is the Kemah Boardwalk - http://www.kemahboardwalk.com/. Also in Spring, TX just north of Houston is Old Town Spring if you like shopping - it's called the Mall Without Walls. Lots of little houses turned into different types of shops - http://www.oldtownspringtx.com/.

    Hope this helps!

Yes! i'm here. I have tried:

    Cheesecake Factory
    PapaDeaux
    Olive Garden
    Denny's

    Dallas Zoo
    Galleria Mall
    Walmart
    Downtown

First Baptis Church Dallas (I'm impressed with that church...my church in DR is 50 members) I've never been in a big church and neither in NON ifb church.

    I enjoyed the service!

    Going to Houston on Tuesday....

It is definitely a reptile, and an ugly one at that, but it sure is tasty.

You can't live this close to Louisiana and not pick up some bad eating habits. E'touffe, Gumbo, Shrimp, Po'boys, boiled Crawfish (and you gotta suck the heads), fo' sho'.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Good eatin'. My Cajun cousins taught me well.

Be careful on your way down here. That 45 traffic is a killer, especially once you get to the Woodlands.

Also, DPS always runs radar up and down 45, so be aware.

Welcome ... What they were trying to say is, "Drive the speed limit. The police use radar."

Ain't FBC just great! You could have gone to the Japanese church there ...
