    Joshua,
    I am so very sorry at your loss. I can not begin to fathom your pain. May our God, the God of ALL comfort, be with you and your wife at this time and all the times to come. God must have needed an angel in Heaven quickly.....

    Awesome piece of scripture. Our youth did a musical based on this passage last year. Some very powerful words. :praying:

    I sat here and reread all the replies. Joshua, you and Kristi are in all our prayers. We all ache for you and your loss. Tears come easily at a time like this. Please keep us posted on how you all are doing and if we can help in any way. Your family will be in many, many prayers.....

    I am so sorry to hear this! I caught an earlier post from you anticipating the arrival and so opened the tread to only hear the opposite of what I expected. So sorry for you and your wife; God comfort you during this hard time and may you all find peace in His hands.

    Joshua, I am with you. My wife and I have been through this ourselves, so I know your hurt and the anguish that you feel within your soul.

    You are right, my brother. God's hand is in this... but please don't think that it was to hurt you or your wife. I took this view for a long time, and all I did was build a wall between myself and the only One who could give me the peace and comfort of soul that I needed.

    God will use this to build both you and your wife into what He has in mind for you. Although, right now, the way is dark and the grief is painfullt fresh, our Father will take the broken pieces and place them back on His potter's wheel, and begin to fashion them once again.

    My heart aches for you both... now, and for the days to come.

    Your have my prayers, as well as my tears.

    My heart breaks for you and your wife over the loss of little Michal Lynn. Prayers and love go out to all of you in this time of grief. God bless you and your family.

    Thanks so much everyone for the encouragement, and most of all, the prayers. My wife, Kristi, was released from the hospital this afternoon, and we praise God for her speedy recovery! We'll be having funeral services Wednesday afternoon in Branson at our home church, and then leaving for Texas. Thank you for your continued prayer and encouragement. We have felt them! Tomorrow and Friday will be hard, but we are so blessed to be surrounded by family, friends and several church families. How do people make it through something like this without God? I have no comprehension. It's hard enough with Him in control!

    I have thought about yall so much Joshua, and will continue to pray for you each time I think of you. I dont know why bad things happen to good people, but I do know that our Father is in control. I pray that you and Kristi will continue resting in Him.

    And then the chorus that my heart has sung so many times, even before I ever heard the song...

    Joshua,

    My wife and I have been there- three times. I is a character builder for sure.

    I am and will be praying for you.

    Here is a poem that has been a comfort to us and I pray it might be to you also.

    joshua i'll be praying for you and your wife and each's families. I pray that you won't forget that God knows what's best for us and would never do anything to hurt us.
