Sometimes it is important to weigh things. Also, to take things in moderation. I hope you will consider taking a sabbatical, then come and visit on occasion.

I Think He Left The Building!

Folks...I think He REALLY is GONE....If he answers then that wouldn't have really been his FINAL POST...would it now? Still...it is a shame to lose the good ones. All I can say is to reflect some of the thoughts above. I believe we have had one or two disagreements, but your posts have always been civil and edifying. I can distinctly remember feeling ashamed of how I responded to one of your posts to someone who has always been kind to me.

The thing is, I wish you would reconsider. Your departure weakens the whole board, because some who hang around (no names), do nothing but start threads to inflame, whereas yours serve a spiritual purpose. If you choose to follow through with your decision, I certainly wish the Lord's blessing on your ministry, family and life. No doubt you have made a positive difference in many lives. Thank you for your patience and forgiveness.

Is it the Way the MASTER would have handled it?

As trite as it may sound, LOVE is the way of the MASTER.... it is MERCY, upon MERCY, upon MERCY. And we learn this through our interactions with others. We must learn how to keep giving & dying & getting hurt & trying again & overcoming the obstacles--- it's terribly humbling to love. Thats why the proud person cannot love or grow.

We all need to be gracious & wish this guy our best in his ministry....Im sure he did not come to his decision lightly & he will use his time wisely in Gods kingdom. Gods speed to you Andy & blessings to you , your family & your ministry.

PLAIN'N'SIMPLE: Yes, I did leave before, and came back after a couple months...However I believe this will be longer; as I am realizing I really need to invest more in the people I actually know...and I have a tendancy to get too "into" things like this and give too much time to them. I plan to cut it out completely for the foreseeable future...We'll see.

EVANGELIST6589: I've never used Twitter and don't plan to. I check Facebook a few times a week for keeping up with friends (that I actually know in real life).
