My kids want to go swimming today in our pool. They got in and got out. I said "you were'nt out there very long." and they said the oak snake could have the pool for itself all day. I got the snake out, but they were not impressed.

AH! I hate snakes. The bravest thing I've ever done is throw a garter snake over the fence.

Snakes are just another one of God's great creatures. We should embrace them and bring them into our homes. We should let them sleep in our beds and go to work with us. At the end of the day, we should brush their fangs and play games with them. If they bite us, they are just trying to tell us they like us. Not!

I was thinking about moving to the UK when I read you don't have many poisons snakes but I think I am more scarred of mice. So I guess I might as well stay her and let the snakes kill most of the mice. [IMG]

My brother-in-law has an albino boa. It has to weigh at least a 100 lbs. It is so strong. One visit to his house was a tense moment. It was loose in his room and I didn't know it. I sat on the bed and it wrapped around my leg. I thought I could remove it myself but was mistaken. Ray came in and carefully untangled it. I will make sure the snake is in it's cage next time.

Speaking of natural, I still have my own hair, teeth, finger nails. No implants or extensions. I don't rub on the instant tanning lotion or color my hair every 3 months. No piercings on my ears, lips, nose, eyebrow, belly button or tongue. I'm just a plain-jane-kind of guy.

Speaking of kids, my 2 boys helped my neighbor clean his yard. He's an elderly gentleman and was thankful for the help. I wish they would work that hard in their own yard.

I think that is normal Gib. I would much rather clean someone else's house rather than my own!

My youngest son has been mowing and weedeating our elderly neighbors yard this year too. He goes over there and works without having to even ask him. I am proud that he is doing something out of the goodness of his heart to help someone. I do wish he would be so excited to do his own sometimes though.

That is so sweet of you to drive 400 miles or more to help me mow, my small 4 acre yard. [IMG] That is probably the most helpful thing that anyone has ever offered to do. [IMG]

400 miles? Hmmmm. Maybe you'd better fill up the gas tank as well as the gas can. [IMG]

    4 acres? Wow!

    LoL [IMG] Sue!

Is anyone superstetious? Just wondering because today is Friday the 13th. It is suppose to be an unlucky day but I don't think we have a day concidered a lucky day. If there is a day that is concidered a lucky day then I need to know about it.
