I have always had a problem with locking my keys in my car. I decided to make an extra set of keys so that I would have a set on hand if that ever happened again. That didn't work either because I locked my car with the spare key inside my purse that I had left in the trunk. REAL DUMB! I now have a car that you cant lock with the keys in unless I do something even dumber like take the key out and lay it inside somewhere. So far I have not made the mistake of forgeting them.

We're still trying to finish painting the outside of the house. I won't climb the high extension ladder, I leave that for hubby. I use the step ladder.

I was hanging lights in a tree in the yard. I stood on the next to the last step at the top, reached and the ladder began to wobble. Wooble led to shaking and so on. Eventually the ladder, of course went one way and I was able to hold on to the limb just long enough for my kids to put the ladder back.

When I was a child I used to dream about climbing a ladder in my bedroom and it falling. I would wake up when the ladder hit the bed.

The higest I've even been was our tree...I fell out. Back in December I was decorating at church, and needed to stand on a chair...I fell off, and it landed on me! I went up stairs...I feel down the flight...I climed um the steps to the alter to sing, I fell on my face...COULD YA'LL IMAGINE ME UP A LADDER??!! If I did climb one, would ya'll visit me in the hospital? ;) Can you tell I'm not very graceful?! [IMG]

When my son was young he would climb trees and could never get back down. Someone would always have to come to the rescue. One day he tried to get down himself and got his 'bottom' caught on a nail. He just hung there until I could get out there. Ouch! He had some pretty blue stitches!

That's funny Sue but I am sure at the time it wasn't.

My little brother used to love to climb trees but was told not to. He snuck up in a tree that was forked at the bottom and as he came down his foot went into the V of the tree. I tryed to get him out but I finally had to go for help. He got in big trouble over that one.

I felt so sorry for him. He was just hanging on this big ten-penny nail by his flesh! Needless to say, it was a looooong time before he climbed another tree. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure he EVER climbed one again! It was a good sized gash!

I loaned some money to a neighbor and before she paid me back, I loaned her some more. I don't think I will be seeing her anymore.

I borrowed 35 cents from a co-worker for a toll. The next day I brought back the change and he said it was short 3 cents. I asked how. He said there was 3 cents interest. I said you got to be kidding. He said no, this ain't no charity.

I don't think I'd borrow any more money from your co-worker. With friends like that; who needs enemies?

My sister's birthday was today. She and baby came over for lunch. We asked what kind of cake she wanted. She declined. She said she wanted a coconut cream pie. I said "What?" how can there be a birthday with no cake. What about all the other people, they may want cake? She said, "When it's their birthday, they can have cake!"

I had a brother-in-law like that. He always wanted pumpkin pie instead of a birthday cake, so I would bake him one and spell out Happy Birthday with 'Reddi-Whip'. :D
