Here, friends, is yet another example of what terrorists do. It is from a report by American Forces Press Service by Major Russell Goemaere:

Will there be worldwide outrage over this? Will members of Congress, like Senator Kennedy, find it "enormously troublesome"? Will this receive top coverage by our news media? Will our investigative reports hound our enemy's representative for "answers" as to why they do such things?

Brother...terrorists commit acts of terror. Slogans such as the above tend to have the opposite effect of what is intended after repeated use. It is a brainwashing technique isn't it?

No, it's simply a call to show resolve and support the cause. It is a call that needs to be made, heard, and acted upon. It's the opposite call to all the noise being made otherwise.

I will agree to disagree. I think it is propaganda.

Propaganda? what a joke. So bumper stickers on cars and such that say for example "support our troops" are propaganda too?

Actually...they are. Everything with a message is propaganda. I didn't make it up...it's a fact.

What you just said is nothing but propaganda, by your own definition.

I don't disagree Joseph. We all have our beliefs. We all want others to agree with them. When we share our beliefs it is one thing, when we try to persuade others to agree...it is propaganda.

    Propaganda

    1. The systematic propagation of a doctrine or cause or of information reflecting the views and interests of those advocating such a doctrine or cause.

    2. Material disseminated by the advocates or opponents of a doctrine or cause: wartime propaganda.

It is propaganda and trite...no meat to it.

It is desperation trying to divide...saying "WE ARE THE RIGHTEOUS EVERYONE ELSE IS EVIL" OR
"LOOK AT ME!" "LOOK AT ME"

Much, indeed, has been exposed in these debates!

It is very important to the success of our current war on terrorism that Americans show resolve and support the cause to which we have committed our military to fight. It is critical to our survival! Every American needs to be fully behind what we're doing and why we're doing it. Our enemy must know that there is no weakness among us and we are all determined to beat them by sending our best - our loved ones - and putting our full might behind the fight. Others are also watching how we handle this war as a clue to how we might handle a larger threat. We must show them how Americans put aside their differences in war in order to respond with full force to our common causes. We must pray that God Almighty will continue to bless our nation with the wisdom, courage, strength, and endurance to protect what He has given us for the benefit of our children and grandchildren.

Show Resolve - Support the Cause!

Unfortunately the answers will be No, No,No, and No.

Then maybe you should tell the media to "support the cause" and the answers will be yes, yes, yes, and yes.

I support the cause for Victory BUT that does not mean I am to rubber stamp every thing Bush and Rumsfeld wants to do. That would mean we have more in common with Stalinist Russia than the Founding Fathers. In every War there has been criticism of the President and that is what makes our Constitutional Republic great.

I have serious problems with the way we got into Iraq and the way the military is being used. Our first obligation is to the US Constitution and not a President.

I support victory in the War in Iraq but hopefully future Presidents and West Point and VMI graduates will learn from this war when future wars arise. We should not rubber stamp every thing a President does. Neither Madison nor Jefferson would affirm such a philosophy.

So you support their mission as well as "supporting the troops". Good for you.

It's almost impossible to get a lot of liberals to say what you did.
