I didn't just want to post this in the sports area because it goes much deeper than that. Here is the story below:

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2757105

I am getting so sick of hearing folks defend the gay lifestyle, but I guess it will only get worse. I heard an announcer over the weekend say something like this:

" It is 2007 and if anyone has a problem with anyone being gay, then that person needs to be educated"

I think he and many others need to get educated on what God says about it.

Former NBA Player comes out of the closet

My title should have said, "Former NBA Player comes out of the closet".

Is there anyway we can edit our title?

    Anyway, back to the topic...

    Comments?

==Unless these people repent they will get a dreadful lesson from God about the sin of homosexuality. Sadly the lessons they will learn will come too late to help them. It is the uneducated who think homosexuality is ok.

However I fear this is the direction our society is heading. So, we better get use to it.

the "gay rights" people have done a good job of
    verbal re-engineering.

Sodomites and homosexuals are now "gay" or "alternative lifestyle".

Lord help us, but I know it will get worse before it gets better.

    Gay lifestyles

We live in a society that is "force-feeding" us the gay lifestyle. Shows like, "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy", "Will and Grace", even John Goodman had a show that was on Fox called Normal, Ohio. He played a divorced gay man with a son. Thank God it got cancelled. Nowadays its popular and "en vogue" to be gay. I just scratch my head at this. The ACLU has a lot to do with stuff like this. But that is a totally different story............

I recently read about the false hoods that the gay and lesbian spin machines are putting out there. The site I list below is meant to have a lot of research papers proving the causes of homosexuality.

A lot of people now believe and teach that homosexuals are born that way and its in their genetics. However, even if that were true, and there seems to be plenty of doubt, they also say alcoholics are genetically inclined to alcohol abuse. The argument being just because it is in our genetic make-up does not make it right.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the info that recently informed me a little more in this area.

Even if they were born that way (which they are not) just proves that we are a fallen creation in need of a Savior. Sin is sin.

Such perversion runs deep. Many experts, even former homosexuals, state that the causes aren't entirely known. I think that there's a strong genetic component with this and with alcoholism. But that doesn't excuse it.

I compare it to pedophilia. Such people find within themselves the desire to relate sexually to children. This first thing to say is "Regardless of what you want, you can't do that." Once that has been settled, then the causes of the perversion can be investigated.

Regarding alcoholism (which is off topic), I know of a case where someone who opposed alcohol and never drank until retirement was told by a physician to drink a glass of wine each night for his health. He did it and the stuff grabbed him like a bear trap and he became profoundly alcoholic. And I've heard of other similar cases.

Good point. If people are born homosexual and it is a lifestyle that we as a society must accept, then what about other sexual perversions. Must we learn to accept them also?

Tim Hardaway will forever be a cast out now with his bashing of gays. Granted, Tim should know better speaking to the national media in his tone. He shouldn't have said he hated them, but even if he would have tactfully came out and mentioned how the Bible says homosexuality is a sin he still would be bashed and cast out.

We have such a double standard and Christians are about the only group that can be made fun of and nobody ever seems to care and defend them. I am so sick of this PC junk and it is getting worse and worse. Just 10 years ago gays were not much of a threat and noone got bashed when they came out and said that the gay lifestyle is wrong. Now the gays have about as much power as any group and you best not say a bad thing about them or else.

Read my siggie. If a homosexual comes to God in repentance and wants to change, I'll be one of the first to let out a rip-roaring "Hallelujah!!!!" about it. But if their goal in life is to promote their sin and run Christians down, they've got a fight on their hands. (Though I agree, we shouldn't hate them.)

Let me tell you, it gets me riled when Christians weep and bemoan the fact that queers and baby-butchers and all the rest are taking over everything, yet they don't open their big mouths when an opportunity comes their way to speak out against it, they don't vote, they don't--for pete's sake, if you're not going to do anything to remedy it, then save the hot air for someone who's interested!!! :BangHead:
