WOW!! I just looked up the score to see for myself. Xavier beat St. Joe's in the conference tournament. I would guess that will end their bid for a #1 seed in the Big Dance. So there will be no undefeated teams in the tournament this year.

Well, I am glad for Xavier and everyone else. St. Joe's was probably thought by most to be beatable by a good team. Now, it is not just a thought or speculation. They still might get that #1 seed, but I still think that now they will end it all with two losses on their record.

My goodness, where has the time gone. Have been very busy lately. BTW, did Syracuse make the NCAA? If so how far did they make it? Syracuse repeat champs, could never, happen could it?

See? I told you, I HATE, HATE Duke. I believe Duke will win it all again. They are now in Final Four. I hope U of Conn will beat Duke. But, it will not be easy game. Wait and see find out this Saturday and also Monday too.

My final 2 teams survived in to the Final Four: Duke and Oklahoma State. I don't like either team, but they have both been so dominant at times this year that I had to pick them. If Okafor is healthy on Saturday, I would give the edge to UConn. If he is not 100%, Duke may have a slight edge. Either way it should be a great game.

That Kansas-Georgia Tech game was also a great game to watch. Georgia Tech moved on, but Kansas proved that they were a good team that deserved their #4 seed. Xavier and St. Joe's also both played well in their games and earned a lot of respect in this year's tournament.

I think I will stick with my original picks of Duke and Oklahoma State in the finals, but I might change my champion to Oklahoma State. The Big 12 got no respect from the selection committee when they only got 4 teams in and Oklahoma State getting a #2 seed instead of the #1 seed they deserved. I would love to see them earn a little respect for the Big 12 after having to listen to everyone talk about how great the ACC and Big East were this year.

Same for me and I picked Oklahoma State from the start to win it all. I honestly felt they could win it all plus I am rooting for Eddie Sutton to finally get a national title.

    Go Cowboys!

One of the commentators during the OSU-St. Joe's game said that Eddie Sutton is probably going to make the hall of fame anyway, but a championship would make him a lock to make it. He has been a great coach for years and deserves to win it all at least one time before he retires. Duke and UConn have already been there, it is time for someone new.

The local paper here runs a free NCAA men's tournament bracket challenge with a $100 prize for 1st place. My wife got a call this afternoon that she won. She is to have her picture made for the newspaper. :D
