What a game between Notre Dame and Michigan State today. The Fighting Irish rallied from 21 points down to send it to overtime before Michigan State won. Congrats to the Spartans.

Congratulations to both teams for a wildly entertaining football game!

I am so glad the overrated media kiss-up Nortre Dame Fighting Irish got the licking they needed at home no less!

Now if only Texas and USC would loose a game.

I seriously doubt that either Southern Cal or Texas will lose a game until they meet each other in the national championship game.

As for Notre Dame, I wouldn't call losing in overtime to be a "licking".

Sour grapes because Notre Dame put a licking on your school last week while they were at home.

That was a great game, hope we see more like that this year.

No not sour grapes. I have always detested ND for many reasons.

It think that Texas and USC could possibly loose a game before the National Championship. Somtime they will get a bad break and when that happens they will loose.

Sure, anything can happen - injuries, etc. But barring the unexpected, it looks pretty good for an undefeated Southern Cal - undefeated Texas national championship game in January.

In which case I hope the Longhorns loose big time.

I forgot to TiVo until 3rd quarter but worth watching it (fast forward) late last night. Agree that it was a good game.

BTW, do all Baptists automatically hate Notre Dame and every Catholic worship them? I personally ALWAYS root against ND even in chess tournies . .

I used to feel that way but ND has been down for so long the feeling went away. I found myself actually rooting for ND yesterday.

I don't hate them because there Catholic, if that was the case I woudldn't have much to to with a secular universities team also.

I hate ND, because they are a media darling, always overrated, as they proved once again in their loss to MSU.

Hmmmm, lets see ....ND 17 Michigan 10 [IMG]

If ND is overrated, and they beat up on Michigan at home, what does that make Michigan?? Yep you guessed it...Not nearly as good as some think. [IMG]

Nooo, Michigan is good, but the last few years they don't always show up for a game. They are inconsistent. I think part of the blame goes to Lloyd Carr. I have thought he wasn't the best of Michigans coachs even when the won the National Championship in 97.

Oh ok, so when Notre Dame loses they are over rated....when Michigan loses they are still good. Got it.

It is all in fun...I do love sports and supporting the teams I like.

I grew up in NW Indiana and it was not allowed to be a fan of any Michigan teams. ;)

Ah NW Indiana that explains it, and now you live in Missouri, I will pray for you brother. ;)

I lived in southern IN for while, right near French Lick, in fact Larry Bird owned a house just a few properties down from where we lived.
