Some won't believe this, but I can remember standing in a crib and screaming because somebody was using clippers to cut my grandpa's hair and I thought they were hurting him. My grandma told me this happened when I was about 8 months old. She said grandpa's barber had come to the house to cut his hair because he was sick.

Describe a social situation that makes you very uncomfortable.

There was a particular woman in my past with
whom I never got along. Whenever I am near this
person, physically or on the phone, I am totally
unsettled, totally shaken. Eeven letters sometimes
realy get to me. Unfortunately, whenever I am
around anyone who acts similarly to her, I am
shaken to the bone as well. This has caused me
some social problems on rare occasion.
Fortunately, there are few like her.

What style of furniture do you like best?

My house is a mix-match when it comes to furniture. I've never had anything really expensive so I guess I don't worry about it. We trade furniture in our family a lot. [IMG]

Do you have a china hutch?

I guess not! LOL I don't like things that aren't really practical, unless it's a painting. There's very few knick-knacks or things that can't be used on a regular basis. Occasionally I'll get something and end up getting rid of it because it just takes up room. A friend of mine bought an $800 clock and expected me to get all excited, my first thought was "Ok, *I* thought I overspent when I paid $20 for the hello kitty alarm clock!" And hers didn't even HAVE an alarm!
    I'm hopeless, huh? [IMG]

How often did you have to tell your toddlers "NO, you may NOT crawl into the oven!" ?

[IMG] None; but I DID have to tell them to stop putting their baby shoes in there because they would melt. [IMG]

(I don't have a hutch either OR anything to put it one if I did have)

Do you have 'horseshoe' sandwiches where you live?

No, so here's the plan. You go make me a shrimp one, take it to the airport, give it to someone landing at Cleveland-Hopkins, and I'll pick it up there. [IMG]

What's the most popular place to eat or have coffee in your town?

Coins. At work. I go through our cashier's registers looking for old silver coins and wheat pennies. We also collect sharks teeth. The local coastal areas are good hunting grounds.

Have you ever swam with the dolphins?

A china hutch - would that be a breakfront ? Or is it more like a baker's rack ? I've never called anything a hutch, other than the thing in which you keep rabbits.

    Horseshoe sandwich? A recipe.

Q: Okay, what is a hutch?

Hutch: A cupboard with drawers for storage and usually open shelves on top, often used for dishes.

What is your favorite thing to do, when all your work is done?

Hmm. Depends on my mood. Go home and curl up with a book, go out with friends, nap, take a walk around the tidal basin . . . any number of things!

    Q: What makes you unique?

I share an apartment with a purring ball of fluff named Clio. [IMG] She's enough; she even hogs the bed!

Q: Why do you live where you live?
