    Today, since hubby is not working, I will be helping him put together a 10x12 steel storage shed. Then he will grill hamburgers outside and we will have those and potato salad and baked beans to eat on the picnic table. Before we get started on the work, we will go uptown on the square to attend the Memorial Day Service.

    Does your town have a Memorial Day Service?

    They have a parade, and we miss it every year so we quit trying. It's not our fault. It starts at 12 and is done at 12:01, and that is serious. Last year the streets were still blocked and we stood there 20 minutes and someone told us we missed it. The kids asked what it was like and they said "well, 3 old men walked down the street and then it was done".

    it is impossible for me to narrow it down to just one.. roses, irises, fuchsias, jasmine...

    We live about 20 minutes from the beach. Where my wife teaches and kids go to school is about 10 mins. We used to go often, but, now we are too busy with baseball, karate, soccer and school.
