    No - but my 85 year old mother is going to fly to Seattle in July and take the Charles Stanley cruise to Alaska!!!

    (Sue - you deserve a vacation - big time!!! -- of course if you went on one - how would you get your posting in?) :D

    Everyone is different Audrey. When I joined the BB, I was going through something in my life and the BB was a great distraction. Then, I got to know all you great people and I just kept posting!

    (Dan, I gave up on the idea of ever going on a vacation a long time ago) [​IMG]

    Our church is celebrating it's 55th year this fall. Is anything special going on at yours?

    We will do Vacation Bible School and also send a number of our young people to Bible Club Camp.

    [Sue - I for one (and I believe I am just one of many) enjoy your fellowship and your posts.]

    [Gib - unless my wife takes a hammer to my computer - I should make it to a thousand by at least the end of July!!!]

    Sue - would you like to take a vacation?

    Dan: Yes, I would, if I was independently wealthy, but I don't see that happening. I have never had a vacation OR a honeymoon. :eek: I do drive to Wisconsin once every two months to visit my son, but it is a 650 turn-around trip and very tiring. (Thank you for the sweet words...I know I am always trying to humble you [​IMG] but I really enjoy the give and take we have and your great sense of humor)!!!

    Our town is celebrating it's sesquicentennial (150 years) this fall. How old is your town?

    I think we had our 150 year celebration back in the 70's. I know I got to grow a beard for a short while - then I had to shave it off - because Jan doesn't like them.

    But I have a beard now - I've had it now for several years. I made another installment payment on my ability to have one yesterday. You see - instead of shaving the things off on April 1st each year (I'd start them Oct 1st) - Jan said if I would pay for all her hair appointments without complaining - I could keep the beard - Year Around!!!

    I quit complaining !!!!

    (Sue - ditto back to you on the compliment!!! [​IMG] )

    Do you wear a beard? (I hope no ladies answer Yes!! :D )

    No, I don't wear a beard. However, since I started taking HRT, I am trying to grow one. :rolleyes:

    When I only wore a mustache - I used to let it go down the sides of my mouth - approaching a Fu Man Chu - until Jan put her foot down. (For a little lady - she has a pretty powerful foot - especially if I misquote her! [​IMG] [​IMG] [​IMG] )

    Cream, non-dairy creamer, liquid, or powder?

    Usually - I'm a morning person - even though - to the dismay of my wife - I don't go to bed very early either!

    (What is semi-skimmed milk? Is that anything like being kind-of pregnant? or mock turtle soup?)

    I throw them where the sun shines and they just shrink up and die.

    But aren't slugs and snails one of God's creatures, and shouldn't we be kind to them? :confused:

    (I use Equal and I think semi-skimmed milk must be 1% milk.)

    Slugs.......yuck. How can anyone who has ever seen a slug possibly believe in evolution??? I know God never made a mistake, but if He did, it would have to be slugs! I pour salt on them and watch them disintegrate! :eek: Mosquitoes are one of God's creatures too; but I'm not gonna let them bite me...I'm gonna smack 'em!

    Do you have an ant problem?

    I have a lack of Aunt problem - most of them have passed away!!!

    Oh - I'm sorry Sue - wrong ants - Yes I have an ant problem at work - the things have been walking on the top of my messy desk!!! :eek: :eek:

    How do you cure your ant problems?

    I don't have an 'ant' problem right now, but when I have had in the past, I sprinkled a few crumbled bay leaves on the windowsills or threshold where they were coming into the house.
    I hate to tell you this Dan, but ants are attracted from outdoor colonies by sweet or greasy foods. You better clean your desk off! [​IMG]
    (If you can follow their trail to the nest, you can use a pesticide to eliminate them.)

    Do you have an outdoor clothesline?
