New Biography of the Cedarholms

    Maranatha Baptist University just published To The Praise Of His Glory by Dr. Larry Oats. To my knowledge, this is the first biography of Dr. B. Myron and Mrs. Thelma Cedarholm.

    From the Seminary page:
    God raises up special people for special missions. B. Myron and Thelma M. Cedarholm were extraordinary people whom God chose for special ministries. They served at Lehigh Avenue Baptist Church in Philadelphia, the Conservative Baptist Association of America, Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, and finally Maranatha Baptist Bible College (now Maranatha Baptist University).

    Got it late this afternoon. I'm up to the early fifties so far. It gives a nice overview
    • of the issues and causes of the break between the NBC and the CBA.
    • of the structure of the CBA and the philosophy behind it.
