My "old" (4 years) Kodak Dc215 is feeling it's age, so picked up a Creative DC-CAM 3000z the other day. Love it [IMG] Incredible results, features, and best of all: CHEAP [IMG]

Got it at Aldi for $au200. Another $au100 for a 256mb SD memory card. That's about half of what comparable cameras have been selling for elsewhere in Oz [IMG]

Universal Currency Converter ® Results (UCC link)

Live mid-market rates as of 2004.07.13 09:59:38 GMT.
200.00 AUD Australia Dollars = 144.924 USD United States Dollars

    1 AUD = 0.724620 USD
    1 USD = 1.38003 AUD

Though I think it would be less than that over there. I picked up the old Kodak in US about 4 years ago. Cost about $au600 then, they were close to $au800 here at that time.

I just picked up a canon digital rebel. wow.
I am a die hard slr user and refused to give up film for the longest time.
if anyone is considering going digital slr, i recommend the canon, hands down
then again i havent played with the new nikon yet!
