I joined here on Sunday (09-24-2018).

I became a Christian in the summer of 1962 through the ministry of a fundamentalist independent baptist church. I was asked if I would like to know for sure if I would go to heaven? Of course. The idea of being able to know for sure. I was lead to trust Christ and the written word of God through the Romans Road as it is called.

    Thank you for your testimony!

Glad to have you on board - and enjoy the different posts, whether it is Bap doctrine or jokes
or anywhere in between! And as I vet - visit the Vet and Friends forum.

I only have one rule- dont believe anything Padre says about me.

I never heard anything from Padre. Oh, I wrote the wrong date. I should have written the 23rd.

Do you have a calculator? Insert the number and turn the calculator upside down ~ BIBLE using numbers.

For the record. I have been a professing Christian since 1962.

While i am open to changing my view on some topics, I do not take kindly to false accusation. Being told I am wrong is fine.

My back ground is old school fundamentalism. My out look is what ever the truth acually is, that is what I intend to believe. Even though I might not yet correctly understand it.

My fundamentalism remains with the inerrancy and plenary inspiration of the original documents of the written word of God.

Two key reasons I remain a professing Christian.
    First, actually knowing God.
And secondly the reason for the first, is the genuine gospel of grace. The phenonena being it is not understood by the lost (2 Corinthians 4:3). The evidence, as I have observed is the lost do not correctly understand it. This encludes former professing Christians.
