New Poll: Obama up by 13 pts

I think we have to wait and see how badly Clinton looses today in NH to know how long she will stay in the race. If she is within 10 points of Obama, she stays in. However, if she is 15 points or more behind and if there is record turnout (and it sounds like there may be), I believe prominent Democrats will start endorsing Obama. In that case I would not be surprised to see her drop out before the next primary. In short, I think record turnout in NH and a huge margin for Obama spells the end of Hillary's campaign.

I also think that a huge turnout for Obama and a big total for him from independents hurts McCain's margin of victory and may even cost him the win against Romney. In that case, Romney becomes the clear Republican front-runner.

 

A democrat is a democrat this year. They will all pretty much do equal damage to our country.

What is sad is that Giuliani and Romney, closet Republicans, are just as bad.

 

Did Edwards attend islamic schools when he was young? Was Edwards' father a muslim? Your comparison is absurd.

It doesn't take an authority to add 2+2 or to conclude that in a country which is 90% muslim, their public schools teach the Koran, or that someone admitted in their own autobiography that they were registered as a muslim in a Catholic school. Hello.

I have a voice that is anything but melodic, these days, after a long term bout with some upper respiratory infections several years ago, and the resultant scar tissue from the extended coughing, effectively ended my limited ability to sing very well, not that I was great to begin with. However, I did sing regularly in the choir for many years, up until that time. I can read music, carry a tune, and am considered a baritone, FTR.

That said, I did watch and listen to the video. Frankly, that is one of the worst renditions of our national anthem I've ever heard. It was not quite debased to the level of Roseanne Barr's rendition, I will admit. But I, even with my gravelly, scratchy voice, can make a better stab at our National Anthem, than did the jenny braying on the video.

I am certainly no great fan of Sen. Barak Obama, Sen. Hillary Clinton, Sen. John Edwards, or have great deal of use for about any of the Democrats (or most of the Republicans either, for that matter) who have been in the race for President, and actually would come far closer to supporting a Sen. Joseph Lieberman or a Sen. Sam Nunn type, or the now departed from the race, Sen. Joe Biden, or NM Gov. Bill Richardson, simply because of experience, in the cases of the latter two. BTW, don't look now, but Gov. Bill Richardson has some experience at actually running a government, and a federal government department, which no other Democratic candidate can say.

Still, having said all that, I'm not sure that butchered National Anthem, deserved a show of one's hand over one's heart, by anyone, but rather, someone should have undertaken to jerk the microphone away from the jerk that was the 'singing' donkey, I mean pony, 'er I really mean phony, and launched into an attempt to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner", themselves!

I agree, the "singing" was totally awful. Perhaps he didn't have his hand over his heart because he was trying to keep from throwing up. :tonofbricks:
