Walls, I'm certain I do not know what you are saying.
I said there are people here who have had their personal lives attacked by other BBers outside of the BB. Such as contacting their churches. I know this because they said so on the BB. So your "how do you figure that" doesn't fit.
I have never taken information from pm and posted it publicly.
What on going argument are we talking about?
I can not figure how your post even has anything to do with mine that you quoted.

I am not here to argue (even though this is a debate forum heehee) nor to point fingers and if I did I apologize. That was not my intent honestly. I think positive things need to be said to encourage all Christians. As far as the liberalism, that is mostly just different aspects of Baptists such as Southern, which is quite a bit more liberal than what I was raised. I was raised as a strict conservative Baptist and didn't feel the conviction of all they were teaching. I was in that church for over 16 years and still love Preacher and the Principal of the school there and hold the people there in high regards but I prefer the Southern Baptist Church where I feel the most comfortable.

And wouldn't that just make your day.....

How could I be when both Shawna and Sue have said openly on the board and Sue even wishes her good night and good morning. It's openly on the board in the prayer forum, coffee house, games forum, etc. (social areas) all the time. Dr. Bob has several sons who are members and he calls them by name, Thankful and Ed are husband and wife, my husband is a member but doesn't post because he's too defensive of me and would be banned the first day. This is all common knowledge and none of it is 'ugly' or 'embarassing'.

Seems like every thread you've started since your pastor convinced you the internet is evil has been an effort to start a fuss. I've got better things to do.

</font>[/QUOTE]I am not attacking you, Diane, but your statement I found rather informative and funny.

I was "poking fun" at Ed Edwards and "Thankful" railed on me for it. Now I know why. [IMG] [IMG]

Oh, and I [IMG] thought you had better things to do?

Bettye!!!!!! I'm gonna have to speak with Bro. Eddie about this----25 months and ya'll have already been on a cruise????

My wife and I have been married 15 years and she still won't let me have a "Louisiana Traveler" aluminum bass boat with a 70hp Mercury!!! That's all I want----but "NNNNNooooooooooooooooo!----Kids might need braces! What about their college?? What about savin' for their weddin'??"---I mean, that's the scoop that Blackbird gets!!!!

What about Blackbird's LA Traveler??? Huh???

I won't touch that one, I want to touch that one, I won't touch that one,.... And for you rap stars "You can't touch this" So I won't touch that one. But I'm tempted, so that's the indicator I shouldn't touch that one.

I want to take one of those Adrian Rogers Bible Cruises----or I'd be a good rounded Southern Baptist and go on one of those David Jeremiah Bible Cruises--------I'd really, really like to take one of those Jerry Vines Bible Cruises----I can stomach the waves for the Bible!!!!!

Maaaaaan, those fellas will be on that cruise boat---expounding on the word from the Word---and I'll be listenin' and sayin'---"Waves?? What waves??? Only waves I see is waves of grace comin' from the word those guys are proclaimin'!!"

Cruises-R-Us. Best vacation for the money in the world. Relaxing and romantic. We did Mexico in January, Alaska this September, then Costa Rica/Belize in February.

Would not enjoy the preaching cruises, though. I like all the white-haired ladies yelling "BINGO" instead of "Amen" . .

Our annual Jan/Feb cruise is "business" (my wife is a doctor) and paid for by suppliers. We always take one other cruise "on our own" to just relax - the business one is mostly fun, but does entail 3-4 seminars during the week.

Think cost here. Let's say you are going to spend a week at Hilton Head or Disney World for you and the Mrs.

7 nights in a lower end motel for 2? $500
21 meals for 2? $300 for McDonalds type, $500 for Dennys
7 days of activities, programs, shows, movies, etc? 500

So you're at $1500 - which is the cost of a nice room on a cruise out of New Orleans (close to you).

Room is not going to be as nice as motel, but service 1000 times better. Food is phenomenal - gourmet meals, 24/7 room service - and activities, Las Vegas style shows, entertainment is second to none.

Worth every penny and NOT expensive. It's a little pricier for us, since we have to fly to Miami, Galveston, LA, etc and that costs + taking another day.

Well I'll stay on dry land, thank you very much! I don't 'do' water! LOL

I sure wish Nick would outgrow his mosquito bite allergy so we could camp again. Now THAT's a vacation!
