This little story probably has nothing to do with the topic----but maybe it does

I don't have the quotes before me but the story is of the late Pastor Dietrich Bonhoffer during the waning days of WW2

The Gestapo had arrested him on charges of aiding Jews and had thrown him in jail

Story goes that one of his fellow pastors from another parish had come to visit him at the prision-----he looks at Pastor Bonhoffer through the prison bars that seperated the two and asked

Bonhoffer------why are you behind these bars??

To which Bonhoffer responded

It is not the question of why I am behind these bars-------but it is the question of why you are not behind the bars along with me

The Catholic Priest Dietrich Bonhoffer was killed by the Gestapo one month before the war ended

The last thing the Lord Jesus would have us do is to sit idly by---rather we are to "occupy" until He comes

 

I repeat your agreement, we need to stop worrying and spreading the devils spirit of fear and get busy advocating the reason we have nothing to fear. No matter how bad any of us feel this world has become or will become, the Good New from the graveyard is that Jesus lives. And because He lives etc...

 

"none should perish" is a reference to eternal life and God's long suffering. Nevertheless, God has appointed a Day when His longsuffering will end. I hurt for those who have not been saved yet and this is the work we need to be hard at, witnessing to the lost and snatching them from the gates of hell until Christ returns. We are not to fight God in His plans to present the antichrist. Why fight against what God said will happen? It is a waste of energy. Get busy preaching the word that the end is coming, you are not going to stop the end from coming. I cannot pray it comes any faster or any slower, the date is set.

Believing one world government and one world currency is evil is just your opinion. Those clammering for it are doing so because they believe this will be "good" for the world. All of these things are done in the name of "good". Just like the microchip will be for good and it will do alot of good, it will help find missing children, ease banking transactions, end drug trafficing, etc. But then the antichrist will take these tools and use them for his evil. Many things are created for good and then twisted into evil.

Do you think for one moment that your railing on the one world government will slow it's arrival? The date is set, do you think you are having an effect on changing that date? Do you think God is influenced by your actions and might change that date if we fight really hard against it?

"Carry on" in the harvest of souls and prayer for the saints, doing unto others as ye would have done unto you. Fight the good fight of faith and fight the evil that plagues this world daily, but do not fool yourself into believing that by fighting the evil that Day will be delayed. The Day is set, Praise God! It's coming. You do want Jesus to come and end evil forever, don't you? Or do you want to fight forever?

I haven't surrendered to evil and have even posted as much. You are not paying attention to what I write and are confusing things.

Can you prove that a one world government would be evil? No, so me saying let the one world government come as it may is merely submitting to God's Word.

In fact, God says government is His way of blessing or punishing society. So you rail against God when you rail against His establishments.

Your standing with poncho? I am the one who has said keep up the Lord's work until Jesus comes (Occupy). Poncho says we should fight the government until the Lord comes. God told us not to fight the government....

Of course "America is an Imperialistic Nation looking to conquer the World." How blind can you be. That was the Neo-Cons stated purpose and Bush's administration followed their lead. I don't believe that is now true with the election of a more reasonable and intelligent leader.

 

Compare the passing of time, to a old giant grandfather clock. The pendulum swings from left to right, and then back again. It all started with the fall of Adam. The world was thrown into sin, and increased in sin, to the point God had to judge it with a flood. Where all human life save 8 souls, were wiped from the face of the Earth. The clock started on the right, and swung to a left position of the pendulum. Where in spite of judgment, it remained for hundreds of centuries. Oh it may have returned to a near center position for awhile, but not to the right.

But in the 14th - 17th centuries came the enlightenment, or renaissance. A time of great social, and political change, when men began to be more benevolent toward one another. The pendulum swung a little more to the right again, where it has been for the last 5 centuries or so.

But as the scriptures tell us, near the time of the end, when men’s hearts begin to grow more and more evil. The pendulum will again! swing back to the left. When all men would again become consumed with power, and greed. And the world of man would return to the days of Noah, where the hearts and minds of men would think on evil continually. We are in those days!.

The idea of a new world order is not for the benefit of the common man, but is being manipulated by men of great world power, and greed. To bring the world populace under their control. To buy the last thing their money could not obtain, the World. To place both the great, and small under their thumbs. Does this spell Anti-Christ to you?.

By all of these things we know we are in the last of the last days, and the Lords return is very near. So instead of looking down at our feet in the dust, lets look up, and encourage others to look up, as many as we can. For our redemption draweth nigh.

I suspect you may be correct. Some years ago I wrote the following in a discussion of Revelation:

At the present time there is a growing trend for corporations to become multinational. Corporations are by their very nature amoral. The bottom line is profit. It is often the case that to make a profit “the end justifies the means”. It is not beyond reason that as multinational corporations increase in number their economic power will dominate the governments of the world.

 

America under Bush was a Fascist state. Look at our liberties he took away in the name of providing safety against his contrived terrorism danger. Did you notice that at politically opportune time the terrorist threat level went to red? He and his gang played you guys like a violin.

 

Where is the intelligent leader?

 

There isn't one, and there wont be one, until Jesus assumes his throne. Then there will be peace, and the Nations will learn war no more. That time is not very long in coming, believe me.
