The will of individual states will be negated by the US Constitution.

So, in effect, the states have no say.

If one state goes for , all the others have to honor it.

"Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof."

Yeah, sure, then anyone could marry, or call themselves married and just be shacked up. Then the FLDS could 'marry' all the little girls that wanted and everyone be a real legitimate marriage.

It will end up being like driver licenses and the will of the people in every state will be overridden by the least common denominator of all the states. Your friendly courts will decide this in cases filed by the ACLU.

Generations ago this would have not been a problem because no state would have recognized homosexual "marriage" - in fact homosexuality was illegal in many jursidcitions as it should still be - and no one needed to worry about such foolishness.l

Anyone who believes in limited government doesn't want the government to be in the nation's bedrooms.

Fortunately, such laws will never be reinstated in the United States.

I'm more concerned with what we clearly see on the street, in the schools, at work, on the stump, etc. - what we're forced to accept and someday endorse under force of law - than I am with what I don't see in the bedroom.

Evidently not since you want laws to regulate bedroom activity.

If so then it will be because today's generation and those to follow have lost the right basis for our law.
