The global warming thing is not false. He really did it.

I'm not impressed with most of them, but most of them have really similar policy outlines, and most of them have not had a scandal. Why vote the guy who has ?

And I repent, most every day, yet somehow still manage to get convicted, from time to time.

    Newt deserves this.

I did not say he did not do it. But that does not mean he supports the global warming agenda. he said it was a huge mistake and he wish he had not done it. He agreed to it only to communicate that conservatives care about the environment too. People need to research claims more.

I was there, my best friend worked in the Senate at the time. Clinton did make changes that helped, but if he would have kept the baseline budgeting he forecast, it would have balanced the budget. He grew the economy.

I give Clinton some credit. However, I think we would have enjoyed a balanced budget merely because of the rate of growth and manufacturing output. While Newt supported the Clinton policy that allowed for the economic growth, it would never have passed without Clinton... NEVER.

I am not a fan of Clinton and hate his policies, but Newt did play the obstructionist (which had their positive points), but the major issues that balanced the budget must give the credit to Clinton.

Newt is probably not anyone's notion of the ideal candidate, and his views are all over the landscape. I personally don't have a favorite among those running this time around.

But if you want to talk about radical views, the candidate that you champion wants to "Take out the CIA". He wanted to impeach Bush because of the North American Union, which doesn't exist. And when Paul resigned from Congress in 1987 he listed his vast disapproval of Reagan as the main reason.
