I'm working on my predictions for the upcoming year. It takes a lot of work to be wrong, so I have more to do :)

Only sport I watch. Just give me the NFL. No other sport. Baseball is too boring and so is basketball. No offense to those that are fans of those sports!

I love the Broncos, and I love it when games start at 1 or 2 PM - so that
I can watch most or all of the game before evening services!!!

Here are predictions sure to be wrong. I'm shooting completely from the hip, but I'm going against conventional wisdom, meaning these picks will be closer to what will actually happen than conventional wisdom says.

    AFC East Champion
    New England Patriots

    AFC North Champion
    Baltimore Ravens

    AFC South Champion
    Indianapolis Colts

    AFC West Champion
    Oakland Raiders

    AFC Wild Card
    New York Jets
    Tennessee Titans

    NFC East Champion
    Philadelphia Eagles

    NFC North Champion
    Minnesota Vikings

    NFC South Champion
    New Orleans Saints

    NFC West Champion
    San Francisco 49ers

    NFC Wild Card
    Green Bay Packers
    Dallas Cowboys

    Super Bowl
    Minnesota Vikings over Baltimore Ravens

AFC East - The Patriots are still the team to beat even though everyone's sexy pick is the Jets. I can't see the Jets doing it with their schedule.

AFC North - The Bengals ran roughshod over this division last year. Not so sure about this year with an improved schedule, and the Ravens have an easier schedule down the stretch. I like the Ravens to win the division (humilty won't let me pick the Bengals) though I will pick Cincy to win the WC from this division.

AFC South - Indianapolis. They have Peyton Manning. Houston is the sexy pick - again - to do something. They're wrong again. I like Tennessee to back into the playoffs.

AFC West - San Diego, easily. I don't know if anyone else will have a winning record.

NFC East - Cowboys have a slightly easier road than the Giants, so I'll take them.

NFC North - Green Bay. The Favre act is wearing thin, but I like the Vikings to win the WC.

NFC South - Atlanta and NO both have relatively easier schedules than you'd think. They'll both go to the playoffs but the Dec 27th Mon night game will decide the division. I'll go ahead and call it for the Saints.

NFC West - San Francisco finally gets through.

NFC championsihp - Green Bay over Minnesota
AFC Championship - Indianapolis over San Diego

Super Bowl - Indianapolis over Green Bay
