    Congratualtions says Ben W in defeat. Having watched Australia capitulate to the Irish in the International Rules World Series :mad: :rolleyes: :D

    It was suggested that the Aussies did not focus enough on the game to defeat the rapidly improving Irish and we played a "Junket".

    Well you are one up, but it is on our home turf next year my friends, and I can assure you that over here our players will have nothing else to focus on. ;)

    Oh well, gracious in defeat I suppose, I did jinx it by heaping it on a little over a week ago! [​IMG]

    I'm disappointed that ESPN no longer covers the Aussie League as it did in ESPN's early years. I NEVER saw a dull game! And we LOVED those Aussie announcers!

    Many of us Americans had fave teams and players and kept up with their stats, much as many Americans do now with the Premier Soccer league.
