****Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled****

my daughter sent me an e.mail with photos of my grandchildren attached, the above was on the bottom of the message......... so no photos were received - I went to tools/options/security and found that it was set to "restricted". There is another option there which is "internet, and this says less safe but more functional" or words to that effect, should I use that option, and if I do will I then be able to receive photos from her?
I notice that I can create a rule from her message, how do I do that properly, without messing up the blooming lot?
thanks in anticipation of your help.

I just looked at what you described as rules but saw no way from those options to let an attachment through.
In the tools/options/security I have mine set on internet. I receive attachments all the time, but below those buttons are two boxes, one stating "Do not allow attachments to be saved.....this has to be UNchecked to recieve attachments. I've never had any bugs thru here by following two simple rules...have your anti-virus set to scan all incoming e-mail, & never...NEVER open an attachment that you don't know who it is from!!
Try this & hope it helps!!

You can have her post the pix to an online hosting site. I can't think of the names of any off hand (too many hours spent vertical as opposed to horizonal).

If nothing else, she could always use http://imageshack.us/ and send you the links.

    In Christ,
