    Good evening -

This reading of Ezekiel is quite interesting in that it was actually a fairly intricate religious reform for the Jewish people. Many of the instructions are repetitious of previously staed Mosaic Laws such as 45:10 compared to Leveticus 19:35-36. Others, however, vary from the original instructions such as 45:18 does not take into account the Day of Atonement of Leviticus 16, and 46:4 does not line up with Numbers 28:9.

One point I had never picked up on before in our reading of the Gospel of John is that Judas was the one who kept the money bag for the Disciples. As the passage indicated, the perfume poured on Christ's feet by Mary (the sister of Martha and Lazarus) was a very expensive commodity. This obviously bothered Judas who was quite fond of money.

In 1John we read that since we are like Christ in love, then our love shows because He lives in us. It is through this that we have assurance that we are saved.

    May God bless you

    - Clint
