We woke up to a bit more than a dusting of snow this morning. It was beautiful. Not enough to shut anything down like it can in this part of the world - but enough to put the kids in a tizzy (well that and it's sex ed week for the 8th graders ;) along with Operation Christmas Child box packin' time in Bible).

Wish I'd been a bit less groggy and gotten a pix taken!

We had a few flurries, nothing to strick, melted right away. But i did get a call from Pam last night, they went to Indiana to her brothers, and they encountered a lot of snow on the way. So apparently just north of us got some that stuck.

I haven't seen any snow for three years and don't plan on ever seeing any more--unless it snows here in Florida. I miss it about as much as I miss living with my sorry-excuse-for-a-dad. It still gets too cold for me here. I'm thinking about moving to Southern Florida.

Have you had a foot of pre-winter snow already, Jim?

We've had plenty of flurries this month, and a few school delays for ice yesterday morning, but no big dumps of snow to date. Whew ... I could live without it!

We had 8 inches of snow overnight. It was very heavy, impossible to shovel. We are expecting more this afternoon, Wednesday and Thursday to boot....It might rain on Friday. It is November! We just put Mary's snowtyres on the van on Monday!

It is togue time and it doesn't come off now until Spring..sometime in the next ten months.

Funny story. A Brit came to Canada and family in England enquired at how he enjoyed summer in Canada. "I don't know," he said, "I've only been here 13 months!"

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Wow! I can't imagine this.

We are down to the 50's at night for Thanksgiving -- of the coldest Thanksgivings in years.

It was 40 degrees when I got up this morning about 6:30. Thanks God it doesn't snow here--yet.
