Obama confirms his rabid position on the slaughter of the innocents by the appointment of Gov. Sebelius of Kansas as secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services. Sebelius has for years shielded the notorious late term abortionist Diller from prosecution in Kansas. Furthermore, she has vetoed every restriction placed on abortion by the Kansas Legislature during her tenure. This one is a real jewell, made in the mold of obama.

Senate Set to Confirm Sebelius as Health Secretary

The Senate opened debate on Kathleen Sebelius, the two-term Democratic governor of Kansas tapped to head the Department of Health and Human Services.

    Tuesday, April 28, 2009

WASHINGTON -- Backers of President Obama's pick for health secretary urged quick action on the nomination Tuesday, arguing that the swine flu outbreak underscored the need to have agency leaders working on the federal response.

The Senate opened debate on Kathleen Sebelius, the two-term Democratic governor of Kansas tapped to head the Department of Health and Human Services.

    <snip>

An afternoon vote was scheduled to confirm Sebelius. She was expected to get the 60 votes needed in the Democratic-led Senate, though perhaps with little margin to spare.

Anti-abortion groups have been lobbying Republican senators to vote against Sebelius, criticizing her support for abortion rights and her ties to a late-term abortion doctor who donated to her campaigns. Sebelius initially underreported to senators the size of those donations, though she apologized and said it was an inadvertent error.

Republican Sen. Tom Coburn of Oklahoma said Sebelius' position on abortion amounted to a "critical flaw" and he would vote against her nomination.

Why? I don't support abortion. Did you support Bush's murder of innocent children in Iraq? I think you did. The only good muslim is a dead muslim. Right? Especially if they are women or children.

    Your relevance to the topic?

The evil in your statement is from your own thoughts and not the posts in this topic.

If you support Obama, you support abortion.

That's what Clinton, Gore & Albright said. Do you support them ? I know you have been confronted by this several times, and it can't be easy for you to deal with. I don't support war from either side of the political aisle. Do you ? Why is it OK for democrats to starve women & children to death, but not for republicans to bomb them ? Would Jesus encourage your partisan hackery ?

Actually, I am starting to feel so bad for the GOP that I may start defending them. It's as if God is not on their side. They can't get a break to save the party.

Jindal says the volcano study in the stimulus was waste. What happens, the volcano erupts and he looks like an uninformed fool.

The conservatives try to slow down Obama confirmations. First they choose decorated war vet Tammy Duckworth and that backfires big time. Now they choose Gov. Sebelius to block and what happens, swine flu breaks out and they are blocking the HHS secretary? They had to push this one through before the Democrats crucify them in the media.

Oh, and let's not forget they called the flu money in the stimulus waste and had it removed...

Obama is so shrewed he puts the Homeland Security secretary up to speak to the medical crises since his HHS has yet to be on the job. Now that guy is good.

Then, a republican switches to democrat right before all of Obama's big legislation comes for a vote. He says he's not an automatic 60th vote but he'll need Obama and the Democrats to be reelected now that he's in the party. They must not only help him raise the cash, but they have to convince his constituents that he is really a democrat or he won't get the democratic vote.

Oh, and Obama will show off his new prize on all the early morning shows tomorrow.

The list goes on. I haven't even scratched the surface regarding all the backfires happening to the GOP.

Cantor who screamed about the train from Disneyland to Vegas is now asking for money to build a train in his district.

The republican Governor of Tx who advocated succeeding because of Gov wasteful spending is now begging Obama for swine flu vaccination.

McCain who spoke against torture is now backing what Bush did.

These guys bought 1 million tea bags to dump in a park as a protest to wasteful spending... Now how wasteful spending is that? THEN, they fail to get a permit so didn't get to make their protest.

Wow, I can't believe the misfortunes they are having.

So if you guys want to have this as a victory or if it makes you feel better to say I endorse abortion because I voted for Obama, go ahead. Me and my God knows the truth and that's all that matters... With the luck the GOP is having, Obama and Sebelius might get the SCOTUS to reverse roe vs Wade. Who knows what will happen next???

Most leftists/Fascists/democrats worship the god of big government.

I am not going to respond to all the nonsense posted above but: It was Schumer who got the flu money in the stimulus waste removed.

A stimulus bill is supposed to stimulate and it looks like the only thing it has stimulated is 1} the Mexican flu, 2} a volcano in Alaska, and 3}] a giant leap toward a Fascist state!
