Who is still hoping, by some miracle, to get his gal Hillary in the White House. One motivation only. If he can get Obama removed before Dec 15 the electors, in all likelihood, will be freed up to vote for anyone and, voila, his gal is President!

No chance of Hillary being president out of this. I would think the only outcome would be for the electoral college to take their votes from him and give them to McCain or another third party candidate. In all likelihood Berg's actions could be puting a republican in office by his action. McCain would become president (or better, Paul, Baldwin or Barr)

Electors are rarely legally bound, if Obama were to be disqualified, I contend the Democratic electors would vote for Hillary (maybe Biden). Any states that had a legally binding elector law would have to decide what to do with its electoral votes.

Berg has had one motivation since day one - Hillary in the White House.

There is little if no chance the electors would vote for someone who did not run in the election. Biden was on the democratic ticket as VP, and surely would not be given the votes as POTUS. Hillary wasn't even the convention's nominee and would not gain the votes. They will look at the popular vote (which was closer than the electoral vote), and on behalf of the people give their votes to McCain if they intend to keep their jobs.

I disagree - but thats what politics is all about :). I think the Clinton machine is strong enough to get her the electors.

We will never know, cause these frivolous suits will all the thrown out.

Electors don't have jobs. There are only chosen to cast one vote.

Heard today that there is a search for the debate tapes which occurred during the senate run between Alen Keyes and Barrack Obama:
Seems Keyes accused Obama 'of not being born here'.
Obama response [caveat 'reportedly'] was 'so what? Its not like I'm running for Presisdent."

Well, if someone knows the truth and has proof..... and that if that truth proves Obama's birth in Kenya..... then they are in a powerful position of holding this secret over him to manipulate him anyway they wish.

I think theres so much controversy over this, and didn't I read his grandmother had at one time said he was born in Kenya(I know it was under discussion here also), that if proof he is American born citizen exists he should produce it and stop the rumors. This is too big a deal to let it pass.

The grandmother thing really gets me. My mom had a hard time remembering details of all of her grandkids birth. This dear lady may have had no idea who was born where :).

His birth to an American woman gives him the citizenship by birth regardless of where he was born. What I don't understand is why he is reluctant to put this controversy to rest. Unless he is not the natural born son of Stanley Ann Dunham but from the pictures of he and his mother side by side he looks just like her.

He looks like his mother. In that case why wouldn't he just handle this and end it all.

My point was it is easy to lose track of which grandchild was born while she was there, especially if she is elderly and has a bunch of them.

I don't think so. Grandmothers don't forget their grandchildren just because their old. I've known granmothers in their 90's or over 100, and they knew who their grandchldren were, didn't forget any of them.
And theres a big difference between kenya and Hi, I'm sure she would have noticed it too.

Don't you get it. I never claimed she was not in Kenya. I contend that after a dozen or so grandkids it would be easy for her to get their births confused when she got to old age.

Then again, is there a scrape of evidence for this granny story?

Then again, she might be a liar.

There I go again, getting involved in this silly discussion - ARGH!!!

It does not matter if he was born in Kenya, Mongolia or any other country. His mother was a natural born citizen, thus he was/is a natural born citizen. You are right, it is a silly discussion.
