................."The mistake that President Obama [made] is not only going on Al-Arabiya, but talking in a way that made the United States look bad by saying to them that America needs to listen instead of always dictating," says Gabriel.

Brigitte GabrielThe former broadcast journalist says that sends the "wrong message" to terrorists -- an element she contends truly hates America "no matter how nice we try to appear."

"This sends a message to the radical Islamists...that America is weak, [that] America does not want to fight [and] cannot fight; and [that] this is why we are going to them begging for them to like us."............

To the contrary, perhaps most of the Middle eastern terrorists actually hate us because of the last 50 years of mucking around the the affairs of the Middle East--supporting authoritarian regimes (ie the Saudis, the Shah, and even Saddam Hussein at one point), covertly overthrowing popular regimes (ie Iran in 1953) and giving more-or-less one-side support to Israel, even as they continue to make life miserable for the Palestinians. Even Osama Bin Ladin was once on "our side" in the fight against the Soviets in Afganistan, but turned against us after our troops were on Saudi soil during the first Gulf War.

But, nah...they probably really do only "hate us for our freedoms" and thus we should continue to invade and occupy Middle Eastern countries, inflict causualties with Hellfire missiles on civilians ("collateral damage"), and prop up "friendly" authoritarian regimes so as not to make us look "weak" in the eyes of all those "Islamofascist" terrorists.
