Ok, let's take a look at your posts and see what we find.

    It starts with this.

Using 4 exclamation points suggests that you're rather agitated.

BTW, you still need to prove your ridiculous assertion.

    MP wrote this:

    And you responded with this:

2 exclamation points. And, since you believe that all people are racist, and since you're wrong about that belief, you either misinformed or lying. Since I'm giving the benefit of the doubt and don't think you're lying, you are obviously misinformed.

    Another post by MP:

    You responded with this:

What you fail to understand is that the burden of proof is on you. You made the assertion that all people are racist and it's your responsibility to prove that assertion. You seem to not understand this.

    You wrote this later:

What other conclusion other than you are angry should we draw from that post?

My assumptions are based on the posts that you've made in this thread. You sound angry to me. I don't care whether you're annoyed by my "accusations".

What was the point of letting MP you ignored him? Just ignore his posts and go about your business. But, that's not what you wanted. You wanted MP to know how worthless his posts were that you had to tell him he was being ignored. It's saying, "I have an ignore list and you're on it. Nah-nah-nah."

    It's childish behavior.

You have 2 choices. #1, add me to your ignore list and don't post anything directed to me. I really don't care whether I'm on an ignore list or not. #2, stop posting in this thread. The choice is yours.

But, I'm not the one who made a ridiculous assertion and got called on it, then decided to get angry about it instead of offering evidence to support my assertion.

Your statement that all people are racist is complete nonsense.

Obama's statement is the same stereotypical description of a white person that blacks so loudly object to when it comes from a white person and it is they who are being stereotyped.

How is Obama less a racist than the whites that make such a statement?

    He's not.

I've been ignored before. Doesn't matter to me. :)

I believe it's J. Wayne is Mr. J. Wayne, because I believe J. Wayne has been given permission to post in the Private Men's Forum. I agree that a debate is obviously not wanted.

Since I started this thread, you must be talking to me. I challenge you to find one word of support from me concerning John McCain. Stop trying to change the subject.

Two accusation on this thread towards me, MP. I don't expect you to back this one up, either.

TT, since there's so much vitriol in this thread, let me say first that I always respect your opinions, and agree with the majority of them.

But, would it be more accurate to say that if ALL you hear is hate for 20 years you can't help but internalize it? Because, through the years, I've heard much MORE hateful racist speech (coming from several of my own family members even--and then from fellow students and eventually co-workers) than Obama could have ever heard in all those Wright sermons and commentaries put together. Fortunately, it's not ALL I heard.

And, on the flip side of the issue, while I clarified TT's statement, I don't think it's necessary to have a degree in psychology to be a qualified student of human nature. I think it's logical to assume that Obama WAS indeed affected by all that garbage from his pastor. I know that I was definitely impacted by all the stuff I heard through the years--and I have to be careful to NOT allow some of those racist voices poke through with their ugliness even now (the issue in my neck of the woods is hispanic prejudice, but that's another thread, obviously). If you are among the fortunate who did NOT have to grow up listening to people being called less-than-human because of their skin color, then I praise God for that for you. But, please understand that everyone who DID hear racist remarks--regardless of whether it was white prejudice or black prejudice--it does, at the very least, comprise who we are today. We WERE impacted by what we learned/heard/saw growing up (good and bad), and it DOES inform who we are and how we react to things today. It is only the Grace of God that helps us to get it right.

Nope, wasn't talking to you specifically, addressing the "typical" person who brings this up.

Well, I just told you the one you cite here was not to you. Where else do you feel accused? And this coming from a man who calls Obama a racist in the thread title without knowing what is in the man's heart. Dispicable! And yes, THAT is directed to you.

You throw around the word "racist" & "dispicable" to a lot of folks. Anyone who dosagrees with you gets called a name. I'm calling Obama a racist, based on something that came out of his mouth. And everyone here knows you wouldn't let Limbaugh or Hannity get away with it, and rightly so. You just won't apply your standards to your candidates. (I know, it's awful hard to find any dems with any standards)
