The Liberals just can't control themselves!

Rep. Steve Cohen(D-Tenn): "Barak Obama was a community organizer like Jesus, who our ministerprayed about. Pontius Pilate was a governor."

I heard this on the early morning radio news as I drove my daughter to school today.

I think it is time for McCain to roll out his "The One" ad again. Charlton Heston: "Behold his mighty hand."

Good thing Obama didn't say it but either way I don't like the analogy. Where I have a fond appreciation for community organizers I think it takes greatly away from Jesus mission.

Comparing Obama (whom I do not trust at all!) to Jesus (whom I trust with all my heart and soul!) is very offensive to me.

Sounds like nothing is sacred to these people.

Comments like this reik of "false prophet" status for Obama. It would be exciting if he were the FP in Revelation. Maranatha!

This is nothing new.Gov. Richardson was called Judas by James Carvelle for supporting Obama,Clinton was called a wh--e by Randi Rhodes of air america,Obama was called a messiah figure by cnn news, and John McCain (son of Cain) by name deffinition. So what are we looking at here anyway? Possibly those reffered to in John's book of the revelation?

LIBERALS USING BIBLICAL TERMINOLOGY without even being aware of it!
Even the elect if it were possible would be deceived.....

And some are. Especially when they believe hunting animals is more important then hunting human babies.

Why should the democrats apologize. Why not just Rep. Steve Cohen(D-Tenn) who made the comment.

I don't agree with the speaker's remarks either. In fact, they are offensive to me. But Obama didn't say this. This representative did. Vote against the guy who said this if you live in his district. Obama had nothing to do with it.

Cohen shouldn't be saying idiotic things like this. He has enough on his plate with his ethical questions, lingering questions, etc. But this is vintage Cohen. He has made quite a living being an idiot and sticking his foot in his mouth.

    yup

With reference to Senator Barak Obama being a community organizer like Jesus and Governor Palin being like Pontius Pilate, here are some facts.

    1. Jesus was not a community organizer. His Kingdom, He told Pilate, was "not of this world." John 18:36.

    2. Jesus was organizing for a future world, a New Heaven and a New Earth, Rev 21:1-8.

    3. Jesus did not contribute to the slaughter of the innocents (except being the intended victim) (Mat 2:18), while Senator Obama has consistently voted to continue slaughtering innocents, even those born alive after a botched murder.

    4. Governor Palin is from a small town, as was Jesus; she was in the fishing business as was the families of Peter and Andrew, James and John. Until she went into politics to make a difference, she was a working mom like Mary, helping with the family business.

    5. One of Senator Obama's best friends William Ayers, was, like Barabbas, an insurrectionist and murderer. The difference being, according to church tradition, that Barabbas later repented and became a follower of Jesus. Ayers thinks they did not kill enough.

And Tom Vols, o great resident of the Vol state--what district in TN does this guy represent? Is there a colony of California or Mass some place in the Vol state?

No, we who are satisfied with McCain's choice don't have glazed-over eyes and a look of total ecstasy as the Obama disciples do.

Pro choice, pro gay marriage, pro socialized medicine, no strengthening the borders, against anti-terror warfare.......the democrats have quite a platform.
