Obama 'naive' on national security

Economic issues will decide this election.

However, Senator Obama could tidy up his pronouncements on national security issues.

Also, our $600 billion year-after-year national budget deficit will eventually force spending cuts(including in the defense budget), tax increases, or some combination of them.

And the last sentence shows that Mr. Maginnis is not dealing with this issue in a reasoned manner.

 

Another good reason to vote for 'Bama. The purpose of the National Guard is to guard our nation, not DUTCH Shell and BRITISH Petroleum oil wells.

I propose an American Foreign Legion for those who wish to kill people and break things in other countries. I propose that we lease real estate in Africa and South America for AFL camps. Our volunteer felons and aliens who want a full American citizenship could serve outside the US for 10 years in the AFL.

This would be killing three birds with one stone. They would be paid AMerican minimum wage based on an 8 hour day, room & board for the 10 years. Mexicans and all others could send their pay home to support their families. The AFL would be SS exempt for non-citizens. Like the FFL, desertion would be a hanging offense.
