Over the past 30 years, Title X family planning clinics have played a critical role in ensuring access to a broad range of family planning and related preventive health services for millions of low-income or uninsured individuals and others. In addition to contraceptive services and related counseling, Title X-supported clinics provide a number of related preventive health services such as: patient education and counseling; breast and pelvic examinations; breast and cervical cancer screening according to nationally recognized standards of care; sexually transmitted disease (STD) and Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) prevention education, counseling, testing and referral; and pregnancy diagnosis and counseling. By law, Title X funds may not be used in programs where abortion is a method of family planning.

 

As I said on another thread, christians will be forced through taxes to pay for the murder of children.

I have linked to a copy of the plan you are refering to (see below). All Christians should be horrified by this obvious attempt to normalize the murder of babies in the name of "rights". The plan promises to "improve access to abortion care" (ie...make it easier to murder your child). The Obama administration's plan calls for pro-death judges to be appointed to the federal courts.

Brothers and sisters in Christ, get ready for persecution. The media, and the liberal culture, are launching an all out assault on Christian morality. Obama's plan is just one part of the assault. Anyone who watched MSNBC's Keith Olberman last night knows that he is leading this assault. Last night on his show he said that opposition to homosexuality is hate speech. So folks, it is time to get ready.

"You will be hated by all because of My Name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved...A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a slave above his master. It is enought for the disciple that he become like his teacher, and the slave like his master. I'm not saying this is going to happen over night. However the foundation has been laid by the wicked and it should be obvious what is coming.

So what should our response be? Anger? Hatred? Revenge? No!

It's the government Health and Human Services Dept. of the federal government's position that funding abortions with Title X money is illegal. If illegal activities are taking place it's the administration's obligation to stop them. As Harry Truman said, the buck stops here so guess who that responsibility ultimately falls on. That's right, the President.

 

So, it's your opinion that the Bush controlled HHS Dept. is breaking the law? I'm not aware of that so it's my opinion that Title X funding is NOT used to fund abortions. What's your position?

 

It's a simple matter of fund accounting to by-pass this law.

Set up separate funds for the abortion expenses and every dollar of tax money that goes into the non-abortion expenses fund frees up a dollar to put into the abortion expenses fund.

The net result is that tax dollars to Planned Parenthood allow for more abortions to be performed - on our dime.

 

So the "Anti-Abortion" President has allowed this to continue? A simple slight of hand?
