Are you saying that you can't explain what "chains" the Republicans will put people in?

If you do understand what the "chains" are why don't you explain it for those of us who don't get it?

It seems like nobody will tell us, except to say we are wrong.

The chains were on, now they're off, and republicans want them back on.

Really ? What chains were on them in the first place ?

You are exactly right Bro. Curtis. Apparently I am unable to get through to the unbelievers! And one accuses me of being like Zaac! Very sad!

The Obama administration has distanced itself from the remark, with a White House official telling reporters:

“President Obama has great affection for Joe, but we can make no more sense of the statement than any of you can."

the chains attached to the shackles the Republicans were talking about. There is no difference between the two.

The shackles of ignorance by people refusing to read and simply believe the propaganda of the right-wing.

It's an easy question, Mitch, and C4K, (both of which I respect), what shackles, or chains, or any other restraining device do republicans want to put BACK on those poor folks from Virginia, (or was it one of the Carolinas) ?

I should have put right-wing and left-wing. Republicans, if you are not rich, love it when they propose legislation that will make them richer while making your poorer and people simply accept their propaganda and support their ideas. They have been very successful as redistributing the income of the poor and middle class into their pockets ... and many in those two classes cannot see what they are doing. Well a good pickpocket does it without the victim knowing their pockets are being picked.

The shackles like those that were placed on miners who were paid in script that could only be paid at the company store as well as having to live in company housing.

The shackles of predator lending that keep people shackled in debt.

The shackles of limiting upward mobility through discriminatory employment and promotion practices.

I am sure you can think of other shackles if you try.

    What shackles?

What are the "shackles" that he is talking about?

What "shackles" are supposedly being put on the people?

How about a straight forward answer?

So you can show us all where these talking points are part of a Republican plarform ? You can prove....

Republicans want to bring back company housing along with script.
    Republicans support predatory lending.
Republicans want dicrimination in the workplaces.(There you at least admit Biden's comment was racial, in nature).

That should keep you busy for a while.
