    Russia halts Kaliningrad missile plan

    Russia has announced it will suspend its plan to deploy short-range missiles in its Baltic enclave of Kaliningrad, according to the news agency Interfax. A Russian military official said the change in attitude of the new administration in Washington had prompted the decision.

    Moscow says placing missiles in the enclave between Poland and Lithuania was merely counteracting moves by the United States to design missile defence facilities in Poland and the Czech Republic. The military spokesman said that as that US President Barack Obama was not pressing ahead with the missile shield strategy with any haste, the threat had been removed.

    Just watching for the 7-year peace plan between Israel and the Palestinians. If he's on a fast track, it should happen soon.

    Peace will never happen until the AC. The Palestinian agenda destroys any hope of that.

    Glad to see this. The plan of putting missiles in Central Europe to counter terrorists missles never made any sense and was seen as a threat by Russia.

    Glad you specified who the Prince of Peace really is Ken. Some on here haven't figured out it isn't Obama or Palin.
