Reagan= a poor actor who was a great president
Obama= a poor president who is a great actor

 

I take offense at the accusations of being a bigot too. I live in the Northeast now, but I was born and raised in the South. I have seen and heard far more bigotry in New England than I ever heard in the South. My brother is married to a Hawaiin girl who has very dark skin and the first time I met her she had a huge afro hair-style. We all love her tremendously, she is a fantastic person and a Christian, although she had been raised Buddist.

Want to hear bigotry, come to New England. Several years ago I worked with a African-American (I must be politically correct you know), he was my best friend. He came over to my house often, I went to his house often. A co-worker of mine once asked me in disbelief how I could be friends with a black person. I said, "You mean, because I am a Southerner?". He said "Yes". I just laughed and told him never to talk to Leroy (my friend's name) because he would probably say something really stupid and offend him in seconds.

Folks that make accusations like this don't have a clue.

I don't dislike Obama because he is black, I dislike him because he is a flaming socialist.

 

OK, then maybe the Rev is a Marxist.

 

You talk big, but that's all it is is just talk. Many "liberals" have died on the battlefield. They have given their lives so that (many) can continue their way of life.

You are really backward, aren't you? It was during Reagan's reign of terror that many jobs were lost, I know I lost mine.

The trash was taken out in 1988 and 2008, when two of the worst fools who ever occupied the White House.

I happen to work with several people who grew up under communist regimes. You would not believe the incredible stories they have told me. If people in this country really understood how oppressive socialism is, they would run away from it as fast as they could.

One lady I work with is Polish. She is 76 years old. When the Germans invaded Poland in 1939, the Russians invaded from the east. Her father was captured and shot because he was an officer in the Polish army. The Russians came into her village and gathered all the people, put them on trains and transported them to what she calls "Siberia", a desert area north of the Caspian Sea. Her mother was considered an intellectual because she was a school teacher. The Russians wanted her to become a citizen but she refused because she hated the Russians, and also because she felt that she would never see her homeland again. They imprisoned her for 10 years and she was abused and tortured.

Fortunately, my co-worker and her older sister had their grandmother to take care of them. She worked in a factory and was able to get potato peels several times a week. This was all they had to eat. They would boil the peels and make them into patties and fry them. This is practically all she had to eat for the 6 years she was in Russia. They were always hungry and she saw many people starve to death. On occasion her grandmother and older sister would sneak on to the collective farms at night and find grain on the ground that was left. They would be shot if discovered. But they would bring it to their little shack and crush it and make a meal of it.

After the war she was shipped back to Poland and placed in an orphanage. She actually thought this was wonderful because she got food everyday. Four years later her mother was released from prison and shipped back to Poland but had no idea where her children were. She literally walked from town to town inquiring at orphanages until she found her two girls.

And even after the war the people lived in fear. You could not say anything critical of the government. As a teen one of her friends made a joke about Stalin. Soldiers came and took her away and she was not seen for several years. When she was released she refused to talk about what had happened to her, but you can bet it was terrible. And this just a young teenage girl.

People here have no clue how bad this form of government is. It is like being in Hell itself. People think it cannot happen here, but it can. You give socialists a little power and they will take over. They are always paranoid governments and afraid of free speech and freedom. You see how Obama has recently sent e-mail asking people to report those who are critical of his health care plan? That is perfectly normal for socialists.

I have another co-worker who grew up in Cambodia under Pol Pot and the Kymer Rouge, his story is even worse than this Polish lady.

People do not have a clue. Socialism is worse than you can ever imagine.

 

That was way over the line for even mean spirited debate. The state I live in (Kentucky) is very similar to West Virginia, and the remark is very offensive. I know lots of people in this community, and not one is inbred, nor do the laws here allow it.

One of the freedoms in this country is to live the type of life that we choose within the law. What purpose does it serve to belittle and area of the country or group of people that have as much right to their choice as you do That is an individual choice. By the way, how much did you contribute towards defending liberty and freedom?

Since you cannot think of a combination that is more ignorant than growing up in Mississippi and living in Kentucky, maybe sometime you would care to compare intellects in either our daily jobs or college transcripts.

You're talking about COMMUNISM. Most here call the UK, France, Canada, and in fact every other industrialized nation socialist because they provide medical care to their poor. The US, a "CHRISTIAN" nation, is alone in rejecting this.

 

In the U.S. the poor are provided medical care - by law.

Why is that so hard for you to comprehend?

The primary difference between Obama and Reagan, political differences aside, is that Reagan had a deep and abiding love for the United States of America, respect for it Constitution and tremendous faith in it's people.

Obama doesn't.

 

Snow has the typical arrogant mindset of a leftist. That arrogance is particularly reflected in the leftist media and in his idol Obama!

 

I believe that Obama has a deep hatred for this country and perhaps for both the white and black races.

 

I am surprised you admit it but Jeremiah Wright, Obama's mentor for 20 years, is a Marxist!

Reagan was a mediocre actor.

 

I don't necessarily believe Obama hates our country, he probably really loves it. But his ideas of how a society and government should be run is different. Socialists are really big dreamers at heart. They believe if everybody would just start sharing their wealth we would be one happy family. They seem to be blind to the fact that experience has shown man to be competitive by nature. It is both a sin and a blessing. Men do not want to be equal, almost everyone strives to be better than their fellow man whether this means having the most money, hitting the most home runs, or being the boss. It is our nature to be competitive. But when in reality you try to take money from someone who works very hard to be prosperous and give it to someone who is not so motivated, you are going to run into serious problems every time.

But these folks believe this nonsense. John Lennon showed the socialistic liberal beliefs of leftists in his song Imagine.

Everybody used to love this song, but it used to tick me off, especially when John said "I hope someday you'll join us, and the world will live as one".

That is total arrogance. He is actually blaming us for all the problems in the world. If we could only be like him and his fellow dreamers, then we could all sit around the campfire and roast marshmellows in peace.

And this is the mindset of socialist liberals. They are arrogant to the core and think they know more than us regular folks. They are elitists.
