Shall we interpret this post to mean: I am more righteous than my fellow BB members because it doesn't matter to me if the Obama camp leaked anything or not, and to accuse them of leaking is slinging mud, because in my opinion, leaks don't matter since both sides do it. If you want to be as righteous as me, give Obama a pass on this one. If you don't agree, I will accuse you of spreading wreckless rumors. Is that about it?

Now maybe you didn't mean for us to take it that way, but that's how it comes off. Sorry, Martin, I can never be as righteous as you and I think the Obama camp leaking (which you admitted they did when you said "There was a leak. So what? We don't know "who" in the Obama camp leaked the information.") shows a serious lack of trustworthiness and unprofessionalism already and he hasn't even been sworn in yet. And it doesn't matter who in his camp leaked it, the buck stops with him.

==Not sure how you got that out of what I said nor am I sure how I can make my points any clearer than I already have.

==Again, I am not sure where you are getting this stuff from. Mainly when I have openly stated my opposition to Obama on many very important issues. I am not giving him a pass. I am only stating that much of what is being asserted here is not based on facts but rather on leaked media reports and rumors. When there is some factual basis to support the idea that there was a deal I will say there was a deal. Until that point, leaks or no leaks, I cannot say that nor can I understand why anyone would assert there was a deal.

==Are you just as outraged when men like George W Bush and his team leak things to the media? Or is this just one way outrage? Most politicians are like leaky buckets. Don't put anything into them that you don't want coming out the other side.

Also, how do you know the leak is trustworthy? I don't know that, you don't know that, we don't know if there was or was not a deal. You can choose to believe an anonymous leak if you wish. I don't.

==Really? I did not know there was such thing nowadays as a creditable news source. :type:

I have become so cynical of the news media that I doubt most of what I hear/read.

==This is true. However there is no factual information that proves there was a deal made in secret that everyone is now denying.

I will pray for our country. That being true I would have to pray that Obama fails in his quest to make America a Marxist country.

Nothing in the OP but plenty in his lifetime associates and his campaign rhetoric.:tonofbricks:

So that's worse, a made up lie about a deal never made, yet a lie leaked deliberately by the Obama camp to make Bush look bad. Wow. :tear:

Remember, Martin, you did agree and the news sources show that a story was "leaked." My issue was never over a deal or no-deal, my issue was over the fact that something "leaked" - from a courtesy supposedly confidential meeting at the current President's invitation to the incoming President. Not very nice to return a kindness or courtesy in such a loathsome manner. :tear:

Read my statement above and the OP again I did not slam any deal. I simply asked if Obama were Trustworthy. I repeat that question.:tonofbricks:

There are some Bush Haters who claim that his administration is the most secretive in history. Realize this is off topic but just responding to your "trial balloon".:BangHead:

We will all have to concede that Martin is, to say the least, a cosmopolitan person!  It appears that he associates with twice as many conservatives as others. Headed in the right [no pun intended] direction.:BangHead:
