    My Pastor ( a Baptist ) Would like for our church to leave the IFCA and Join the RBA. But as for me after reading some of the posts to this board don't want to be call a Babtist anything. I'm a Christain because of what Christ did for me and My Heavenly Father calls me his child. Yes I'm sure there are good Godly people who post to this Board. But do I need to stand and fight the world so I can be a Baptist or do I need proclaim Jesus to a dying world? Call me what you want but don't call me late for dinner or a Baptist.:godisgood:

    ==If you are a member of a Baptist church you are a Baptist. Baptist is a term that represents your doctrinal beliefs. If you don't want to be a Baptist go to a different church. However, even then, you are going to be something (Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Pentecostal, Independent, Non-Denominational, etc).

    Maybe he likes Baptist beliefs but doesn't care for Baptists ... a common sentiment.

    This whole area of the board is for baptists only, if you don't want to be a bpatist, why do you find it necessary to post in the baptist only area?
    Oh, yeah, it is plainly marked baptis only, so theres no mistakes there.

    I did a search yesterday and couldn't pinpoint it. This could be it.

    But I am bothered by this I don't wanna be a Baptist in a Baptist only section.

    I was wondering why we hadn't heard back from John R. He joined in 1/05 and has 7 posts, so we probably won't hear back.

    This certainly seems like a hit-and-run post. Looks like John R. threw a pie in the face of every Baptist on this board and didn't stick around to answer for it.

    I say this thread should be closed and/or deleted. At the very least it should be moved to a non-Baptist area of the board.
