    I bet many Americans don't really even know who these two were, let alone the perspective from which each made his statement. Even if they did, I doubt their quotes would be taken seriously since both are ancient history in many peoples' minds.

    The 2nd Amendment is one of the most brilliant sections of the Constitution. In all of the checks and balances between the branches of government, this is a great check and balance between the people, the states, and the federal government. If the idiots in charge now can destroy the right to bear arms, the other nine parts of the Bill of Rights will be meaningless.

    ** Regulating sale of bullets.

    ** Increasing taxes and fees.

    ** Government buying and stockpiling bullets, thus less availability at a higher price for the average gun owner. You can be sure that manufacturers will honor their contracts with the government before restocking retail stores.

    FYI: Government Buying Out All The 5.56 Military Surplus Ammo & Is Telling Ammo Dealers To Stop Selling To Their Vendors & Civilians.
