I rejoice in your attacks in keeping with God's word (Mt. 5:12)

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Let's keep this thread to some level of civility.

Jesus plainly claims that 100% "of all" the father gives comes to Christ and 100% of those who come to Christ none are lost. That is precisely the claim of OSAS.

In contrast OSAL (once saved and lost) cannot accept this claim by Christ. They must assert that at least some "of all" given either do not come or "OF ALL" who come some are ultimately lost. Christ's words explicitly repudate both alternatives.

This passage speaks directly to that very question concerning if any that are given and come can be lost. Christ says "I SHALL LOSE NOTHING" and he is speaking "OF ALL" who are given and "OF ALL" who come to Christ in faith.

We have gotten way off topic here!!!!

All I have asked is a very simple question
Rather this has turned into a dissertation - proving OSAS is true or not.

allow me to remind you of the OP

Only one person has come close to answering my question:
Biblicist - Just to clarify - do you believe this verse is pertaining to 1)a person who had previously accepted the Lord, 2) someone who had never accepter the Lord or 3) both?

    to all others:
    Let me simplify my question:
Could you loose your salvation by:

    Stealing one candy bar
    Exceeding the speed limit
Having just a little bit of lust at a attractive lady (think Jimmy Carter)
    Using one profanity word

(now do you get the ideal)
