    Rippon, a plow boy can understand formal English. Informal language is more likely to be misunderstood.

    A ploughboy would have been a relatively uneducated young man.Therefore a more natural and idiomatic translation would have been more appropriate for him.Tyndale's Translation was made with that goal in mind.For the most part his New Testament was written in a more direct manner than the KJV which copied more than 90% of it.He didn't complicate things with long words and Latinate expressions.

    I didn't advocate informal language in a Bible translation,but semi-formal.Perhaps you didn't read your own link too well or my posts.
