All this talk of Bible software... [IMG]

My personal preference is online Bible versions and study resources. Try StudyLight.org for more Bible versions and study helps than you can shake a stick at...

Yes, it is very good. I just like to have a software program so if I'm on a plane or traveling and don't want to get online, I can review any book in any translation I want.

One other reason that I like using software is that it allows adding notes of your own and "attaching" them to the verses like "sticky notes" only electronic. Plus, if their server goes down, I'm not dead in the water, too.

I'm not disagreeing with you, I like online study material, but I like the thought of having the software right there when I need it, even if the www goes down.

We had an ice storm about three years ago that lasted from Christmas night until A week after New Years before our power, electricity and water were back on. (You have NO IDEA what that was like.) Coleman lanterns and (we did have gas but all of the central air units were down because of electricity. It took units from three states to get the entire town back on grid. With small generators we kept batteries charged, laptops running and lights and radios with batteries. Oh, well, that will only happen once in a life-time, but I will NEVER forget it. A week without cable and the internet in America is like Siberia to an old USSR prisoner. :D

I have been using E-Sword for a little over a year; I continually am surprised on occassional visits by what they offer free.

    I love the program [IMG]
