Only 10 Days Left

Several years ago, I read a story about a group back in the 19th century which was convinced Jesus would return on such-and-such a date. I can't vouch for its truth, but it was funny.

On the appointed day, or evening, members of the group put on some white robes and headed out to a field filled with haystacks. They climbed up on top of the haystacks to wait for the Arrival.

As time passed, many of them became drowsy and fell asleep. That's when some mischievous boys sneaked out into the field and set the haystacks ablaze.

Now imagine that you're one of those sleeping folks, who wake up, expecting the Rapture, and you're surrounded by flames. I'll let you fill in the rest of the story.

I too wish Jesus would return soon. 21 MAY would be fine, but not in the fashion which Camping has "predicted". I don't care if he has predicted the Rapture once, twice or a 1000 times, his total disregard for the Word of God is blasphemy.

Yes, he is a false prophet. Yes, he is misleading who knows how many people astray. Yes, he is totally throwing the fact that Hell is a real place out the window. Yes, he is ignoring truths from the Book of Revelation, i.e., what happened to the Anti-Christ, the Beast, The False Prophet, the 1000 year Reign of Jesus Christ, etc? He is making a mockery of one of the greatest Doctrines of the Christian Faith, i.e., The Return of Jesus Christ. Shame on Harold Camping!

The fact that Camping says that all churches are ruled by Satan is horrendous! Jesus Christ died for the Church! He loves His Church. He is returning someday for His Church! Repent Harold Camping!

It comes down to whom we are going to believe? Jesus Christ or Harold Camping? I believe Jesus Christ, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

I purchased John of Japan's book on fundamentalism from Amazon.com. They informed me that it won't get here until somewhere between May 26 and June 1. I guess won't be able to read it now.

Hey I just realized! Chris won't have to go to "remedial driving school" for the speeding ticket he got the other day and I won't have to pay for it if the world ends on the 21st! Hope it ends early so he won't have to get up earl. Class starts at 8 am.
