    During a segment called "The Ultimate Highlight", which is basically a string of highlights from the weekends biggest games, they played the song "Slam" by TobyMac.

    Tobymac is a Christian artist, and that song spoke clearly about Jesus and who he was. And they didnt edit a word!

    Christ was just clearly explained to about 20 million people! Praise GOD!!!!!

    I had to google the words to this because I didn't know who Toby Mac was--obviously Christian rap? ABSOLUTELY PRAISE GOD that these words weren't edited!!! And if it WAS "rapped", then a whole bunch of folks just got their ears FULL of the Gospel! [​IMG]

    Jesus snatched the keys?? Just where is that in the Bible?

    NAS Revelation 1:18 and the (a)living One; and I (1b)was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have (c)the keys of death and of Hades.

    I see where Jesus has the keys, but I find no scripture to say they were ever out of his possession.

    Toby Mac was a member of DC Talk, but he also has several solo albums.

    I have no idea what on earth Diggin is talking about, but thats not unusual.

    Ahh, for once, I should have known what you were talking about.

    However, I feel that your criticism is misled. Its a song, and I dont think that line is literal. It is not innaccurate to figuratively say that Jesus snatched the keys of death on the Cross. Before then, we were all dead in our sins. After that, we now all had access to eternal life. I dont think such teaching would be out of place at all in a Baptist church.

    I say the above being aware of the Word of Faith teaching, but I dont think Toby is a part of that. If I am wrong, so be it, but I am pretty sure this is a coincidence.

    However, I dont think any non-christian would catch that, so praise God that his word was still preached.

    Will I use lies to get people into church? NO, I wont. I dont think he lied, and you havent shown that he did. ITS A SONG!! GROW A BRAIN!!!

    My word...your hatred is amazing, only trumped by your incredible ignorance.

    This IFB "us against the world" is a slap in God's face. Other denominations can spread his word too, and can word it differently. Its figurative.....does your mind have the capacity to see that, or do you only know finger-pointing?

    Toby Mac will be 42 years old in October. Something about a 42 year old man rapping just strikes me as strange. And I grew up on hip hop music. :D

    sure is, look at the following lines and tell me where that is found in the word of God?

    He fell to his knees? Not in my Bible. Is it in yours?

    John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, "Behold, (a)the Lamb of God who (b)takes away the sin of the world!


    The point I am trying to make is one cannot twist the word of God and put it into a song and say it is gospel.

    would you not agree that a little bit of poison in a glass of water poisons the whole glass?

    Why would twisting God's word to say something they do not and putting them in a song not poison the whole song?

    It isnt poison. Its not even close to poison. Its a song. Its called art. There is no part of that song that is "against" scripture. There are hymns that you sing which do the same types of things!

    Your stance is a complete joke.
