Outsourcing goes on in successful companies, as well. Not all companies are failing.

And then became corrupt thugs. Unions have done their fair share to help in this debacle.

Union workers don't have one thing Management didn't agree to at the bargaining table. You guys keep blaming the unions as if to say Management is doing a great job an deserve all that high pay. Well if they're doing that great a job, why did they agree to the union demands?

Now that the deed is done, I'm not looking for anyone to be without a job. We are all God's creation and struggle to live this thing called life.

I don't know. seems kind of dumb, eh ?

I've read stories about unions intimidating companies into keeping friendly executives to the determent of the company. Think any of them are true ?

face it, unions bear a lot of blame in this crisis. American small businesses are paying attention.

To the contrary , bad management decisions play a huge part in the failure of GM and the workers have benefited from it right along the way making the cost of production too high to effectively compete.

    The bill has come due.

Now the managers you revile struggle to save the company while the union stands firmly and selfishly in the way.

I'm not saying unions don't have a role, I'm saying they don't deserve all the blame.

So far as I can tell, you have consistently excused any obstruction the union puts in the way of saving the company, in order to blame everything on all the evil executives.

It's a constant refrain of yours. I figured that you must believe it since you repeat it so often.

Here is my version of the unions fault in this mess... They bargained fairly when they sold 18 million cars a year. At that rate, the companies could somewhat pay for the conditions. This year they sold 11 million cars but the union still expects the obligations to be fulfilled. The concessions they made were only a gesture though I didn't see management make any larger sacrifice.

With both sides being so stubborn, bankruptcy is the only way to slap them both on the face with hopes they'll wake up and smell the coffee.

    Uh huh.

Next time you complain about outsourcing, I'll remind you of your reliance on page 6 , which must be the page that gives instructions on how to make proper use of hypocrisy.
