Palin Would Make a Great President...

Man I hope we're wrong but I really have this bad feeling about this. I pray for her nightly. I can picture McCain sending her for the coffee at the office.

What's sad is she wasn't bad at first so she is actually being "broke" trying to memorize and regurgitate facts most of us careless about anyhow. He's trying to make a mini-him our of her but the truth is, she isn't a maverick. She's a barracuda. Most Governors go to office without knowing foreign policy but McCain caused this problem by criticizing Obama experience. Not everyone has or needs 26 years on the hill...

Even though I strongly believe in the principles and the platform of the republican party, I am not a GWB fan. My problems with his administration are not as radical as the Dems problems with him, but I still dont care for him much.

I have no problem with taking Hussein out, but the handling of the war since late 2003 has been awful. I support the war itself, but object to the strategy (or lack thereof) that we have employed. It should have been over way before now.

His handling (or lack thereof) of the illegal immigration problem is shameful.

His reluctance to introduce a constitutional amendment concerning same sex marriage is unchristianlike.

I am not sure that he could actually do anything more to stop or curb abortions, but his silence on this issue is disturbing. If he doesnt have the power to do more then he should be pushing the folks that do have the power to do something.

I dont understand the stimulus packages at all. The government has a deficit, but he turned around and gave billions back to the taxpayers. If I spent all of my money on a vacation instead of paying my bills, I would be deemed irresponsible, and rightly so. In my opinion, returning that money instead of using it to pay down our national debt only helped to devalue the dollar even further on the world market. It was just a band aid used as a political tool.

I could go on but you get my point.

But just because I believe that GWB was the wrong republican to put into office doesnt make me a democrat, nor will I vote for a democrat as long as they stand on the current platform and stances that they currently hold to.
