    Hey, all.

I was reading about the Stoic philosophers(Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Cicero, Seneca, et al) the other day, and if I'm not mistaken, I notice a distinct Calvinistic flair to their writings, or more historically correct, a distinct Stoic flair to Calvinist doctrine.

So I thought I would see what you all think of this. What parallels can you see between Stoicism and Calvinism(the Logos and God, predestination, etc.). I'll write what I think after some posts are done, and I would advise all of you to at least check out the Stoic writings, as they are at the least interesting.
