    Picked up on Free Republic.com:

    More here at CNN

Muslim riots are going on in Denmark right now, too. Not finding much in the press about it, though.

The elites MO. Keep the cattle on the plantation in grinding poverty, help fund 'radical' groups through their foundations and foment religious and racial hatred on all sides until the pot boils over. Creating divisions is what they do best.

We end up collapsing as a soceity and the elite gain more control and wealth. It's a game as old as mankind.

Do you really think the 6 elite owned megamedia outlets will ever tell the real story?

It's a surprise when Americans hear the truth about world events.

Paris is burning now. The French are getting pushed to decide whether or not they want a Muslim nation. This is what happens when you have lax immigration laws that do not encourage assimilation into your society. It can happen here.

Does anyone know why tear gas was fired into a Muslim place of worship in the first place? Seems a bit odd. We don't have the whle story yet, though. I'm sure there was a legit reason, but you'd think someone would have said what that was by now.

    Nevermind. The story says:

"The violence started Oct. 27 after the accidental electrocution of two teenagers who believed police were chasing them in the Seine-Saint-Denis region, dominated by low-income housing projects.

Since then riots have swelled into a broader challenge against the French state and its security forces. The violence has exposed deep discontent in neighborhoods where African and Muslim immigrants and their French-born children are trapped by poverty, unemployment, racial discrimination, crime, poor education and housing."

Unemployment amongst working class youths in France is at about 25%.

Lady Eagle, if you understood how the French government defines assimilation, you would not be so quick in your judgement. One factor to consider is many Moslems from Alergia after the French withdrawal. Algeria up until its independence was as much a department of the French Republic as Normandy. More came during and after the French colonial period.

This is not to excuse the rioters. But, we Americans tend to interpert foriegn evnts through American tinted eye glasses.

The US no longer encourages assimilation, either, which will be our downfall. Yesterday when we were at Sam's Club, we felt like we were at the Tower of Babel, yet we were physically standing in the heartland of America. And if the truth be known, probably more than 50% of them are here illegally.

Everyone knows that America was best when she was a WASPish nation. How dare anyone else become a part of our nation. Who do they think they are? We really ought to tear down the Statue of Liberty before anyone else takes her invitation seriously. That is the only way to avoid the troubles besetting France. Its wonderful that we have never had these kind of troubles.

The fact is, France has encouraged discontent in her youth, though perhaps without knowing she did so.

When I was in high school I had a friend who was 1/2 German and 1/2 American, and she traveled back and forth between Europe and America quite often. I assumed she was going to Germany. It turns out she was going to "anti-government" and "anti-democracy" meetings in France sponsored by Russia.

We used to have long debates about how the truth vs the propaganda. How America's very right to speak against the government was her strongest point.

Years later she moved to Germany and was soon there- she spent years in a jail and lost her "right to an education" (Higher education, at least at that time, was considered a privilege and if the German government thought you were a trouble maker they denied you access to a university). She came and told me, "Everything you said was right, and everything I was taught in France was wrong."

France brags about herself, but she let her elderly die of heat stroke while her youth played. She brags about her great cultural centers, but even the most seasoned travelers tell you that would never go near the poverty striken regions of Paris.

Now the world knows what most travelers already knew.

c4k, I think everyone is happy with immagration. But the way it is happining now is problamatic. We really don't have control of our boarders and that is a problem. No culture can handle the massive influx of forigen cultures and survive. We need controled immigration. Even when Ellis Island was full of immigrants the gov turned away "undisirables". Did you know we now have many people comming accross our boarders from the south with drug resisitant TB. We have not seen TB in our nation in years. Now we have drug resistant TB popping up because in mexico you don't have to see a doctor to get anitbiotics. There are lots of drug resistant bugs that are being brought across by illigals. We need controlled imigrations. And we don't need to creat ethnic slums like france has.

As France evidences this is not a problem unique to the US. Ireland has seen a HUGE influx of immigrants over the last 10 years. The whole dynamic of the country has changed as it has all over the world. We are in for a praradigm shift of cultures. We will not recognise the world fifty years from now. Europeans and those of european ancestry are having less than two children per couple, Africans and those from Muslim countries are having 4-5 children per couple. Paris is just the beginning folks - we are reaping the fruit of the "zero population growth" campaign.

Get ready - this is just the beginning. Cross cultural conflict is going to be a way of life. There is no way to close America's borders short of building a wall, are we ready for that? Places in Europe are already trying, but even the walls are not keeping the borders closed.

I agree with you, c4k. We are reaping the results of abortion and small families.
And we can't stop it. But we can do better and we should. Looks like the fall of the late cosmopolitan Roman Empire, does it not? One day, an Odicer will show up an take power with little effort or resistance.

This is not why we in the west are opting out of children. We want our two suvs and big house an we don't want extra children competeing with our material desires. As a result, as you have stated, we will loose our country.

The battle for the west is already lost - all that is left is a mopping up campaign. We will not change our ways. Paris is first, all the rest will follow.

Again, I agree with you. But we can slow it down and make it a better and more controled transistian, yes?
