Losing rewards is Biblical. Believers spending 1000 years in hell is not.

    Possibly longer... if not repentant.

So what if he didn't go "soft" but instead fell into unrepentant, continual adultery until the day he died? Would you preach that he was never saved to begin with?

The what if, is not a what if. I heard John R. Rice preach in person. I have his books. I have read his sermons. His salvation is not in question. The doctrines concerning salvation are not in question.

Looks like the ME proponents are breaking rule 13. They keep posting the false doctrine of ME in thread after thread after thread after...

Looks like you're breaking rule 6 again with your irrelevant non-arguments.

btw...there have been a pretty balanced amount of Kingdom Accountability threads opened by its proponents as its antagonists and if you don't like the topic, I encourage you to consider all of your available options relative to your participation.

Don't duck the question. It was a hypothetical statement. As you hypothetical asked what someone would preach at his funeral, I am asking what you would have preached if he hypothetically had fallen into adultery. Would his adultery prove that he was never saved to begin with?

Loss of your job? What verse says that?

I'm sorry. I didn't realize they taught you chemistry and algebra in Kindergarden.

Do you teach baptism before you teach the gospel of grace or are you proclaiming anything at all?

Do you teach tithing before someone recieves Christ as Saviour or is that something you deal with afterwards?

Do you teach the Lord's Supper before?

    It does make a difference!

BTW, these are questions I am interested in having you answer.

You guys like the analogies...I gave one. You do a bad job at work, you lose your job, which is "suffering loss". You are not sent away to prison for 50 years for not working hard enough.

Yet I preach His Word over and Over in church, funerals, and on the street. I have yet to have a rock thrown at me at a funeral. Most come from right here in the BB.

Thank you for your concern for my well being though.

    TCGreek,

First, thank you for your decorum and your respectful manner of debate.

Second, I imagine you have stated this prior but could you give me a summary of your take on the unprofitable servants? Do you believe the unprofitable servant to be saved, a Jew or something else?

Finally, what do you believe outer darkness to be?

That's swell. However, if I am to be persuaded to your view, I'm going to need to be persuaded by the Holy Bible. Thus, what verse is analogous to our losing our job at the JSOC?

Good one! Time to change the Bible again...

Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? So do not worry about what to wear, since after a while He will throw you fully clothed into the oven for 1,000 years if you don't toil or spin enough!

Funny -- I never thought that was the meaning of the analogy until the ME folks saved me from my sense of assurance that God loves me...
