Instead of worrying about softball the pastors of the other churches should talk to the offending pastor about his sin.

And if he doesn't repent of it they should go to the deacons of his church.

If the pastor still doesn't repent of his sin and the deacons do nothing about it then the other churches should cut off contact with that pastor and his church.

    IMO anyway. :)

Sounds like a Pastor needs to get saved.

The churches that cut off contact with Reverend Darnell and his UCC church are absolutely in the right. They have done exactly as it says to do in 1 Cor; Christians are not to associate with people who call themselves Christians and at the same time practice and advocate unrepentant sin (sexua11 immorality). Now that I know who Rev Darnell is and what he is doing, I will not associate with him either, until he renounces his current lifestyle and advocates against it.

While the sin of Rev Darnell's lifestyle is no better or worse than any other sin, to be unrepentant for it and actually celebrate it is a sure way to get to the big furnace.

Reverend Darnell is leading his life in unrepentant sin as well as leading his congregation to be acceptant of unrepentant sin. Hopefully, they will all receive the message of their Christian brothers and sisters and be repentant before it is too late. Otherwise, I don't expect Rev Darnell and his congregation will spend eternity in the presence of the Holy God.
